January 11, 2014

ELKHART — Plymouth arrived at historic North Side Gymnasium with high hopes of breaking into the Northern Lakes Conference win column, and for most of three quarters, the Pilgrims’ goal was well within reach.

January 10, 2014

NEW CARLISLE — The signs outside of the New Prairie gymnasium read “Welcome to our House.” Once the Lady Pilgrims settled in, they made themselves comfortable.
After a back-and-forth first quarter, Plymouth jumped out to a 35-20 halftime lead and never looked back, rolling to a 59-35 win over the host Lady Cougars on the road in New Carlisle Thursday night.
The Pilgrims hit 24-of-42 (57 percent) of their shots from the floor in the win, and eight different players made a balanced scoresheet in the win.
