PLYMOUTH — Plymouth back-up goalie Erik Aguilar gave his team a boost, and the Rockies played sectional rival Culver Military Academy to a 0-0 draw at home Tuesday.
“(It was) a pretty fast-paced and very physical game,” said Plymouth head boys soccer coach Josh Martin. “CMA played some very clever counter attacking soccer, but when we man-marked Luther Jacobs we were able to disrupt a lot of their offensive build-up in the second half.“

Triton takes NSC lead with 3-2 win over Bremen

September 13, 2011

BOURBON — With three match points already in the bank, Triton head coach Allen Peckham decided to play it safe.
Jackson Downing and Wil Rettinger had already secured their three-set victory over Bremen’s Joe Zeltwanger and Nate Strehler 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 at 2 doubles, and with Austin Kanarr ailing with a leg injury and a busy stretch of conference matches on the horizon, Peckham called the No. 1 doubles match.
The forfeit had no affect on the outcome of the team result, however, as Downing’s and Rettinger’s victory sewed up a 3-2 NSC win for Triton over visiting Bremen Monday in Bourbon.

John Glenn golfers struggled on the front nine to finish third with a 450, meanwhile, as Triton turned in a 461 for fourth, LaVille was fifth with a 537, and Knox was sixth with a 583 at the meet.
