PLYMOUTH — Triton jumped up on Argos early and rode the fast start to a win at home at the Trojan Trench Tuesday, 53-45.
The Lady Trojans (1-0) used some tough defense and good team speed to open on an 11-0 tear in the game’s first three and a half minutes. The two teams played evenly after that, but Argos (2-1) never got closer than five points away as the Lady Dragons suffered their first defeat of the year.

Concord trips up Lady Lancers

November 14, 2011

Ten of 20 from the charity stripe — 5 of 13 in the second half and 3 of 9 in the fourth quarter — and 23 turnovers.

Oregon-Davis splits opening games at Mishawaka Classic

November 14, 2011

MISHAWAKA – The 2011-2012 version of the Oregon-Davis girls basketball team is loaded with good, young talent, but light on varsity experience.
By starting the season off with a doubleheader Saturday, the Lady Bobcats gained some valuable experience, splitting two games against Class 4A schools in the Mishawaka Classic.
After easily dispatching Elkhart Central in the morning contest, 64-32, the Lady Bobcats narrowly lost to the hosts, 49-42, in the championship game. Although it was not the outcome O-D wanted, the fourth-ranked team in Class A made an impression.
