PLYMOUTH â€”Â Ross G. Murphy, 85, Plymouth, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011.
Ross was born July 16, 1926, near Bremen, to John C. and Gladys M. (Gray) Murphy. He attended Linkville Elementary School and graduated from LaPaz High School in the class of 1944. Ross entered the United States Navy, in June of 1944, and served in the South Pacific. He was discharged in June of 1946 and discharged from the United Naval Reserves June 10, 1954.

ARGOS â€”Â Lawrence Edwin Beam, 87, of 222 N. First St., Argos, died Sept. 30, 2011 at 2:55 p.m. at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth following a brief illness.
He was born July 6, 1924 in Argos to Edwin and Mabel (Hagenbush) Beam. He lived all of his life in the Argos community. Jan. 23, 1944 in Argos he married Evelyn Pomeroy; she survives.

ETNA GREEN â€”Â Verlen Eugene Bules, 70, of Etna Green died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011 at 11:56 a.m. at home.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; three daughters, Melody Morris of Warsaw, Robin (Rich) Brunk of Warsaw and June Bules of Plymouth; two grandchildren; a sister, Maxine Binkley and a brother, Carl Bules both of Florida.
In honoring his wishes his body is being donated to the Indiana University School of Medicine Anatomical Education Board.

BREMEN â€”Â Hal E. Cinninger, 78, of Bremen died Sept. 28, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie L. Cinninger; children, Pamela Cinninger, Karen Richmond, Heidi Slessman and Larry Cinninger; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and sister, Barbara Larson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 at Lakeville United Methodist Church, 601 N. Michigan St., Lakeville. Visitation is from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan St., Lakeville where a Masonic service will be at 7:30 p.m.

PLYMOUTH â€”Â Kay F. (Morgan) Smith, 75, 12482 Olive Trail, a lifetime Plymouth resident, died in St. Joseph Hospital, Mishawaka, at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011.
Kay was born in Plymouth Oct. 4, 1935, the daughter of Oscar E. and Hazel A. Unger Morgan. She graduated from LaPaz High School with the class of 1953.
Oct. 23, 1954, Kay and Billy J. Smith were married in her sister's Warsaw home.

BREMEN â€” Elsie Mary Maenhout, 84, died of natural causes Wednesday evening, Sept. 28, 2011, at her home on 1st Road, in Bremen.
Elsie was born in Mishawaka Dec. 26, 1926. She was the daughter of Constant and Selma Van Den Berghe Vervynckt.
Aug. 23, 1947, Elsie and Remie Cyriel Maenhout were married. They met and began their 55-year marriage at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, South Bend. Remie died Feb. 12, 2002.

PLYMOUTH â€”Â Joseph P. Wolverton, 50, of 103 N. 3rd St., Plymouth, died at his residence of natural causes at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011.
He is survived by his two daughters: Andrea and Kile Krathwohl, Plymouth, and Marisa Wolverton, Goshen, and a granddaughter.
His mother, Mary Wolverton, Culver, three sisters and two brothers, also survive. The sisters are Marilyn (Galen) Duff, Culver, Katherine Wallace, Plymouth and Jennifer (John) Schroeder, Reynolds. His brothers are David (Jolene) Wolverton, Plymouth, and John M. Wolverton, Koontz Lake.

MISHAWAKA â€”Â Nancy J. (Mrs. Rick) Cramer, 51, of Mishawaka, passed away Monday morning, Sept. 26 in Mishawaka after being involved in a vehicular accident.
Nancy will be remembered as a person strong in her Christian belief and family values who was patient and caring to those she served. She will be dearly missed.

WARSAW â€”Â James Edward Reeve of Millerâ€™s Merry Manor, 1630 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 at 10:25 a.m. at Millerâ€™s Merry Manor at the age of 93.
He was born July 8, 1918 in Hobart to Charles William Reeve and Minnie (Theide) Reeve. Dec. 3, 1946 he was married to Kathryn Naomi Colvin, who passed away April 18, 2009.
