BOURBON â€”Â The family of Mildred Craig will receive friends Tuesday, March 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in the Parks Cemetery at Bourbon.

WALKERTON â€”Â Harriett Janus Klinedinst, 98, of Reading, Mich. and formerly of Walkerton, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012Â at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility in Hillsdale, Mich. Harriett was born Jan. 7, 1914 in North Liberty to Fred C. and Catherine (Kilburg) Krick.
Dec. 9, 1961 she married Forest William Klinedinst. He preceded her in death April 6, 1981.

PLYMOUTH â€”Â Willard George â€śWillâ€ť Messman, 80, a Plymouth resident since 1993, formerly of Walkerton, died unexpectedly at 11:02 a.m. of natural causes at his Lincoln Highway residence Tuesday, March 20, 2012.
Will was born in LaPorte Nov. 17, 1931. He attended the Lutheran School in LaPorte and served in the United States Army in the Korean War.
Jan. 25, 1997, in Walkerton, Will and Martha I. (Pointon) Bunton were married.

PLYMOUTH â€” Victor E. â€śVicâ€ť Stockman, passed into the presence of his Savior at 12:59 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 in Pilgrim Manor following an illness. He was 84 years old but rarely let that stand in his way.
A lifelong Plymouth resident and community leader, Vic, a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, lived on Hope Boulevard since 1960.
CULVER â€”Â Six Culver men â€” five volunteer firefighters and one local resident â€” spent the March 10 weekend in southern Indiana assisting communities there with cleanup after tornados devastated the area March 2. They returned with sober thoughts on weather phenomenon and how the Culver community would handle such a disaster.
PLYMOUTH â€” Lincoln Junior High students enrolled in Algebra I classes will be given an opportunity to show how much theyâ€™ve learned when they take the Indiana State Acuity test for Algebra I. The testing window allowed by the state started Monday and goes thorough Aril 13.
According to LJH Assistant Principal, Reid Gault, 111 students will be taking the Predictive Acuity Test that is designed to predict readiness/success on the ECA (End of Course Assessment) for Algebra I.
LAPAZ â€” 19-year-old Alan Neace, of Culver, was struck by a falling tree at a residence on the corner of 3rd Road and Pine Road Monday morning. He and several other workers had been cutting down the tree when the top part swung down and hit him.
Neace was conscious, but in a lot of pain according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department. He was transported by MEDEVAC to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for further medical treatment.
LaPaz/Lakeville EMS, Plymouth EMS, and the Marshall County Sheriff's Department assisted in the incident.
PLYMOUTH â€” Zacharhyia Masterson, 8, of Plymouth won a wrestling match at a national competition this year, although he was in so much pain he had to be carried to the mat.
Zach was diagnosed with a form of muscular dystrophy when he was 13 months old, according to his mother Chasity Masterson. But since he turned 4, heâ€™s been wrestling and participating in other sports like bowling, football, and baseball â€” despite what Masterson describes as â€śconstant muscle pain.â€ť
PLYMOUTH â€” A dream for many Plymouth dog owners could come true as early as May, according to information from â€śBow-Wow Friendsâ€ť group member Gwen Calvert. The groupâ€™s plan is to build a public dog park near the tennis courts at Centennial Park.
â€śWe are currently in the fundraising stage, looking to raise the money to get the fence up,â€ť said Calvert.
The cost for the fence is $18,000, but the money is well on the way to being raised thanks to an anonymous donor who offered to match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $10,000. Calvert said that about $12,000 had been raised so far.
Plymouthâ€™s Mack Mercer was given two honors last week as he was named to the IBCAâ€™s Underclass All-State Honorable Mention list and was invited to play in the 2012 Michiana McDonaldâ€™s High School All-Star Game tonight at Bethel College.
