PLYMOUTH â To facilitate spring cleaning at Oakhill Cemetery, flowers and winter ornaments should be removed from grave sites by Monday, March 28. Residents are asked to pick up any arrangements or ornaments they wish to keep before that date. Clean up will run from March 28 to April 1. Anything left will be thrown away during this time.
PLYMOUTH â Marshall County Farm Bureau and Purdue Extension are sponsoring an afternoon and evening program Thursday, March 17, on pertinent information for area farmers. The program will start at 3 p.m. with a light meal at 6 p.m. and an evening program to follow. The meeting will be held in the Marshall County Extension Office in room 304. The afternoon session will discuss wind farm opportunities and concerns and Marshall County Zoning ordinance. The evening session will be a discussion on crop production, irrigation opportunities, and new agriculture fertilizer certification rule.

KNOX â Kenneth K. Berg Jr., 57, died Friday, March 11, 2011 in Indiana University Health, Starke Hospital, Knox.
He is survived by daughters, Stephanie Berg and Brandy Pulver, both of Knox; son, Wade Berg of Knox; mother, Hazel Berg of Knox; five grandsons; and sisters, Cheryl Berg and Becky (Robert) Pulver, all of Knox.Â
Visitation will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 15 at Fletcher Cemetery, Hamlet.Â
Funeral services and burial will follow at 2 p.m. at the cemetery.

PLYMOUTH â Ray âAllenâ Flosenzier, 49, of Plymouth, died at 8:34 a.m. Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, following an illness.
He is survived by his wife, Jamie; daughter, Lindsay (Matthew) Souder; parents, Guy and Jean Flosenzier; brother, Paul (Sherri) Flosenzier; sisters, Kay Orangias and Debbie (Robert) Johnson; six nephews; and one niece.
Visitation will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.    Â

HIBBARD â Howard Gene Albert, 61, of Hibbard, passed away at 7:40 a.m. March 12, 2011 at his home.
Howard was born June 24, 1949 in Kokomo, Ind. to Wendell Vance and Marjorie (Caler) Albert. His father preceded him in death March 27, 2007.

NILES, Mich. â Goldie B. Ralston, 100, Bell Road, Niles, Mich., died at 4:20 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2011 at Riveridge Manor, Niles, Mich. following a brief illness.
She was born March 16, 1910, in Plymouth, Ind., to Benjamin Franklin and Elizabeth (Born) Zehner, and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1929.
She has lived in Niles since 1942, coming from South Bend, Ind.
Goldie was a member of the Niles Chapter #332, Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed the outdoors and gardening, and helping her family and neighbors.

PLYMOUTH â Frances Eve (Pettis) Livinghouse, 79, of Webster Avenue, Plymouth, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, with her family by her side.
Frances was born Feb. 16, 1932, to Jess and Eve (Long) Pettis, in Culver, Ind. She grew up in Culver and graduated from Culver High School. Feb. 13, 1951, she married Dale Livinghouse, in Burr Oak, Ind. They moved to Plymouth, where she spent the rest of her life.

MENTONE â LaVera M. Utter, 96, of Mentone, formerly of Athens, died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 at her residence.
She was born June 12, 1914 in Fulton County, Indiana to Russel and Arlean (Morris) Walters. Sept. 3, 1933 in Rochester, she married Wilbert R. Utter. He passed away Jan. 4, 2004.
She was homemaker and traditional farmers wife. LaVera had also been a cook at the Colonial Hotel and several other places around the Rochester area. She had also worked at Hart Schaffner & Marx in Rochester.

WARSAW â Mary L. Heath, 69, of Warsaw, died at 10 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born May 5, 1941 in Plymouth, to Junior and Madalene (Bules) Cartwright. She married Delbert James Heath Dec. 19, 1962 in Warsaw, and was a lifetime resident of the Kosciusko and Marshall County areas. She was a sewer for Kinder Mfg. for more than 20 years, retiring in 2004. She was a member of the Harvest Community Church, Pierceton.
