BREMEN â Thirteen proved to be Tritonâs unlucky number Friday.
As in, the Lady Trojans ran into a buzz saw opposite 13-time sectional champion Plymouth.
PLYMOUTH â As usual it was a playoff atmosphere at Bill Nixon Field for a match-up between Plymouth and John Glenn Friday.
The Pilgrims hope that it wasnât a preview of next weekâs sectional opener as they fell to the rival Falcons, 9-2.
The Pilgrims kept pace answering a pair of unearned third inning Glenn runs with a sac fly from George Stults and an RBI single from Elijah Nixon in the fourth. The floodgates came open in the Glenn fifth with a two-run double from Justin Giorlowski and a mammoth two-run homer from David Jawerski, and that would be enough for the Falcons.
