LAKEVILLE â€”Â MaryJane Yeo, 85, of Lakeville died Dec. 11, 2013. Arrangements are pending at Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville.
WARSAWâ€” In a press release issued today, Kosciusko County authorities have released the name for the human remains found earlier this year in a wooded area on County Road 175 south of Warsaw.
"After an extensive investigation completed by the members of the Kosciusko County Coronerâ€™s Office, it has been concluded that the human remains are that of Aurora M. Shoemaker, whom had been reportedly missing since Aug. 16, 2012," said County Coroner Michael Wilson in the press release.
MARSHALL COUNTY â€” The Marshall County Emergency Management office has issued an alert that a winter storm warning has been issued by the National Weather Service from 7 p.m. tonight until 7 p.m. Saturday.
Significant snow accumulations are expected over the area tonight and Saturday. Accumulations are expected to range from 5-8 inches across the warning area.

â€˘ Roads will become snow covered, slick and hazardous, making travel dangerous.
â€˘ Visibility will be reduced to less than 1/4 mile.
PLYMOUTH Glenn Gridley, 53, of Plymouth, was sentenced Thursday in Marshall Superior Court No. 1 to 10 years imprisonment for manufacturing methamphetamine and 10 years imprisonment on a separate charge of possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.

BREMEN â€” Bremenâ€™s young lineup entered Thursday nightâ€™s home contest in the hopes of a season-first win versus unbeaten West Noble. Instead, the Lions suffered a 65-48 setback.
Still, it wasnâ€™t all bad news for the inexperienced Bremen squad.
â€śHonestly, Iâ€™m really proud of a lot of the kids in there for the way they played tonight. Our entire team is playing their fourth career varsity game, which, for a lot of things on the floor tonight really impressed me,â€ť said Bremen boys basketball coach Ryan Eakins.
ARGOS â€” The Argos Lady Dragons picked up their third straight victory as they defeated the Winamac Lady Warriors 51-44 at home Thursday night. Argos never trailed in the game, but never led by more than seven until late in the game.

PLYMOUTH â€”Â Frederick C. Morrow passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at his apartment at Millerâ€™s Merry Manor in Plymouth. He was 90 years old.

ARGOS â€” Forrest Bailey, 85, a former Argos resident, passed away at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, in Millerâ€™s Merry Manor, Plymouth following an extended illness.
The son of Sebern and Icie Bradley Bailey, Forrest was born March 22, 1928 in Decoy, Ky.
He had resided in the communities of LaPorte and Knox prior to moving to Argos in 1969.
On July 23, 1949, Forrest and Delores M. Fisher were married in Knox. Delores passed away Jan. 20, 1990. On April 24, 2004, he married Mary L. (Middaugh) Wagoner in Argos.
PLYMOUTH â€” A group of people gathered outside the Marshall County courthouse last night to remember an 11-year-old girl murdered in Argos.
