WALKERTON â€”Â Richard E. Bliley, 68, of Walkerton passed away at 2:42 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. He was born on Feb. 10, 1946 in South Bend to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Housour) Bliley. On June 18, 2011 he married the former Rebecca K. Barnett.

ETNA GREEN â€”Â James E. Neumann, 65, Etna Green, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 1:55 p.m. in his home after an illness.
James was born May 5, 1949 to Fred Minor and Beverly (Kinney) at Coshocton, Ohio and later adopted by Eugene Neumann. James was a United States Marines Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
James was retired as a supervisor at Center for Science Industry, Columbus, Ohio. In his spare time he loved being outside and fishing. He graduated from Hilliard High School, Hilliard, Ohio in class of 1968.

PLYMOUTH â€” Joseph B. Dixon, 72, a Plymouth-LaPorte Trail resident in Plymouth, passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 3 at 1:20 p.m. following an illness.
Born the son of Cecil Vernon and Agnes Carolyn (Luse) Dixon, Joe was born on Feb. 17, 1942 in Plymouth where he attended school.
Joe had worked in construction and spent 11 years in Florida prior to moving back to the Plymouth area.

HAMLET â€” William G. (Bill) Jones, 85, of Lehigh Acres, Fla., formerly of Hamlet, died May 28, 2014 in Ft. Myers, Fla.

STARKE Co. â€” Gary W. Chavez, 57, of Knox, has been identified as the man who allegedly murdered a woman in his Knox home, carjacked three vehicles, threatening the drivers at gunpoint, and allegedly took one of the vehicle owners hostage for a brief time, while leading multiple police agencies on a high speed chase across four counties.
STARKE Co. â€” One woman is dead and a 57-year-old man has been
hospitalized from a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the face that occurred when police disabled the vehicle he was traveling in after a high speed chase that began in Starke County, involving three carjackings and a hostage situation ended in Lake County.
Indiana State Police Detective Chris Campione revealed that the suspect had allegedly been involved in an earlier homicide in Starke County.
PLYMOUTH â€” Money from the Plymouth Community Schools Corp capital projects fund will be used to help build a new tennis complex in Centennial Park. The school uses the courts for physical education and for competition.
The schools have had long-standing practice of leasing facilities within the park. It was noted in the resolution that the tennis facilities provide recreational offerings to students, staff, and alumni outside of the regular school hours as it is for public use.
PLYMOUTH â€” Friday, May 30, Corine Humes, the Executive Director for Marshall County Tourism, and Linda Rippy, Director of the Marshall County Museum, traveled to Indianapolis to Lieutenant Governor Sue Ellspermannâ€™s office to install a small display in her office.
The display included mementos, company products and images and other information about Marshall County.

PLYMOUTH â€” A $600,000 grant from the Environmental Protection Agency will be used to mitigate a brownfield site in Bourbon and will enable Bourbon, Plymouth and Marshall County to create an inventory of similar sites.
