ARGOS â Argos and Bremenâs boys last met on Dec. 13, with the Lions taking a double-overtime win.
When the two teams met the second time at their Bi-County opener Tuesday, however, Ethan Pike took the suspense out early in a 60-37 Bremen win at at Phil Weybright Gymnasium.
Bremen will play the winner of a weather-postponed game between New Prairie and Oregon-Davis tonight in the early tournament semifinal Friday at LaVille at 6:30 p.m.
ARGOS â Bremen and Argos both entered their Bi-County opener Tuesday on the upswing.
The Lady Dragons had snapped a 10-game drought to Oregon-Davis and moved into the class A rankings at No. 10 this week. Bremen had overcome an 0-4 start with six wins in its last seven outings.

Plymouthâs Ryan McNeil scored a team-high 18 points as the Pilgrims snapped a three-game skid with a conference win over Concord Friday.
Plymouthâs Traci Longanecker earned personal bests in all her events to help lift the Lady Pilgrims to a dual meet gymnastics win Saturday.
PLYMOUTH â Plymouthâs underclassmen stepped up to help give their seniors a present on Senior Day Saturday.
Freshman Cassi Quisell won the vault, floor and bars on her way to all-around top honors, while junior Traci Longanecker scored personal bests in all her events to win the beam and finish second in the vault, floor and in the all-around as the Lady Pilgrims beat both Lowell and Tippecanoe Valley in a three-way meet at home.
LaPORTE â The Plymouth Pilgrims were able to build an early lead but couldnât capitalize on opportunities to build on it, and the LaPorte Slicers pulled away in the end to get the victory on Saturday night in LaPorte, 59-45.
Plymouth used good offensive movement and defensive effort to break out to a 6-0 lead, holding the Slicers scoreless for the first four minutes of the game and getting the ball in the hands of 6â9â sophomore center Mack Mercer for three quick field goals.Â

Plymouth went 3-2 and John Glenn went 1-4 in Pool A wrestling at the Northern Indiana Conference Wrestling Tournament Saturday.
The Rockies lost to Clay and Penn and beat Adams, St. Joe and Glenn, while the Falcons beat St. Joe at the big meet.
Neither Plymouth nor Glenn was able to field any individual champions, but Osman Solis, Ian Horvath and DeAndre Pickford all went 4-1 for Plymouth at 113, 160 and 220, respectively.
Also for the Rockies, Kam Markovich, Stephen Abair and Jacob Segraves finished 3-2 at 120, 132 and 195.
