PLYMOUTH â The Plymouth wrestling team will hold an intrasquad scrimmage on Friday beginning at 6 p.m. in the PHS Multi-Purpose Gymnasium. Admission will be $2.
The carroty Rockies will open their season Saturday with an invitational at CMA beginning at 9 a.m. The JV Rockies wrestlers will open up at the Lowell High School Invitational on the same day beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Lincoln 8th tops Bremen
The eighth grade Red Storm basketball team traveled to Bremen to take on the Lions, emerging from the den as 46-32 winners. Â
The visitors led early by 10 points at 14-4, but Bremen clawed their way back for a 20-20 tie at intermission. After halftime, the Red Storm stiffened on defense to start the second half. A 12-4 run in the third quarter let put the game out of reach. Â
The Redstorm were led in scoring by Kadin Mccrammer and Dyllon Powell.Â
BOURBON â The Triton Lady Trojans came away victorious in their home opener at the Trojan Trench, defeating the Argos Lady Dragons 53-25 in a strong defensive effort.
Triton got off to a quick start in the first, pushing the tempo and forcing 14 turnovers in the quarter with their three-quarter court pressure.
âWe have to cut down on our turnovers against the press,â said Dragon Coach Gary Teel when talking about the key to the game. âYou just canât make that many turnovers against a quality team and still be in the game. Itâs just not going to happen.â
Glenn downs Lady Eagles
John Glennâs girls basketball team stayed perfect with a dominant 58-29 win at Culver Girls Academy Tuesday.
The Lady Falcons jumped out to a 31-17 halftime lead with a 26-9 second quarter and never looked back in the win, which pushed the team out to 3-0.
Freshman Kyannah Stull led all scorers with 19 points, while Kyler Columbia scored 17 for Glenn.
CGA was paced by MArie Steinerâs 16 points in the loss, which dropped the Lady Eagles to 1-2 on the year.

Freshman Kyannah Stull scored a game-high 18 points in just her second high school contest to lead John Glenn over Argos Friday night.
Culver Community's Kayla Shaffer put up a double-double of 25 points with 10 rebounds in the Class A No. 10 Lady Cavaliers' 73-9 rout of visiting Westville Saturday.

PLYMOUTH â The Lady Pilgrims used the offensive glass to good effect in the first half of their opener with Peru Thursday.
In the second half, they didnât need to.
Plymouth pulled down 10 offensive rebounds for 11 second chance points in the first half to build a 38-10 halftime cushion, then worked the ball for a 70 percent floor conversion rate in the second half on the way to a 68-24 rout of visiting Peru in the two teamsâ opener at the Rock.
BREMEN â Katie Lafferty of Bremen High School has signed a letter of intent to attend Saint Francis University where she will swim for the Red Flash.
Saint Francis is located in Loretto, Pennsylvania and has a Division I womenâs swimming program.
âKatie has worked extremely hard, and it has been her long-time goal to swim in college,â stated Meredith Eakins, BHS head swimming coach. âWe are very proud of this accomplishment and know Katie will represent Bremen well at St. Francis. Congratulations, Katie!â
