Different venue, same song as Trojans down Dragons, 60-32

January 30, 2013

ARGOS — It was a different night and a different venue, but the same result.
After defeating Argos two weeks earlier in the first round of the Bi-County Tournament, the Triton Trojans beat Argos once again, 60-32, on Tuesday night at Phil Weybright gymnasium.
Triton learned a valuable lesson from their previous game against Jimtown and came out in man-to-man defense. That defense helped them jump out to a 12-0 lead to start the game and finish the first quarter up 20-6.

No. 16 Plymouth falls short of Senior Night win versus No. 10 LaPorte

January 30, 2013

PLYMOUTH — After a stellar finish against a loaded field at the Merrillville Invitational last Saturday, the Plymouth gymnastics team had high hopes coming into its dual meet with LaPorte Tuesday.
But a lackluster finish on bars preceded some uncharacteristic mishaps on beam, and the No. 16-ranked Lady Pilgrims fell short of a program-first win over No. 10 LaPorte in a narrow 100.6-98.125 loss at home on Senior Night.
