CULVER — Coming off a somewhat lackluster loss to John Glenn in the Bi-County Tournament last Friday, the Cavaliers bounced back strong Wednesday.
Culver’s offense shared the load with four players in or near double figures, and the Cavs tied a season-high with 18 assists to finish with 54 percent accuracy from the floor in a 63-44 win over Oregon-Davis on their home floor at John R. Nelson Gymnasium.
No. 9 Plymouth dominates at Clay
Plymouth ran out to a 23-5 lead at the first quarter break and never let up as the Class 3A No. 9 Lady Pilgrims more than tripled Clay, 83-25, on the Colonials’ home floor in South Bend Wednesday.
Lauren Tanner knocked in three 3s on her way to a game co-high 16 points, and Haley Harrell and Kaydon Fosler both hit a pair of triples on their way to respective tallies of 16 and 13 points as Plymouth finished a red-hot 8 of 12 from beyond the arch in a makeup of a game rescheduled from Tuesday night.
