LAKEVILLE â€” Tritonâ€™s girls relied on some accurate outside shooting to gap LaVille in the first half.

Longtime Bremen girls basketball coach Marty Huber was recognized as the girls Bi-County Tournamentâ€™s all-time winningest coach in a special ceremony between semifinals Thursday.
Four area players â€” two from Bremen and one each from Plymouth and Culver Community â€”Â were named to the Indiana Football Coaches Associationâ€™s Region 2 All-Star Team Wednesday night.
Bremenâ€™s Ethan Pike and Bobby Cornett were named at wide receiver and free safety, respectively, while Plymouth running back Sam Stevens was given an at-large nomination, and Culver Communityâ€™s Matt Hurford was named on the defensive line.
The quartet of area players were joined by 24 other players â€”Â 14 offensive and 14 defensive â€” as members of the All-Star squad for Region 2, which includes 29 schools.
