HAMLET — After last year’s rout on the road at Argos, Oregon-Davis was looking for a little revenge at home Thursday night.
They got it.
The Class A No. 2 Lady Cats used their signature high-pressure defense to hassle the visitors into 36 turnovers while capitalizing on 27 fouls by the Dragons with 22-of-34 shooting from the line to claim a lopsided 79-53 win over their Sectional 51 rivals at home at The Den.
LAKEVILLE — South Bend native and NASCAR Sprint Cup driver David Stremme will return to the Newton Center in Lakeville this Saturday as the site plays host to a dirt track racing seminar from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
MISHAWAKA — Former Argos standout and current San Diego Padres pitcher Eric Stults will be returning to the area Saturday.
Stults will be joined by fellow Bethel alum Justin Masterson of the Cleveland Indians for a baseball clinic from 9 a.m. until noon as the Bethel College Athletic Department and Science Department host a “Stand Up to Cancer” Day on the college’s Mishawaka campus.

Rockies coast, finish perfect NLC season
Plymouth’s wrestling team earned wins in 12 of 14 weight classes, and the Rockies coasted to an unbeaten Northern Lakes Conference dual meet finish on the road at Concord Thursday, 71-9.
Plymouth saw the benefit of four forfeits by the Minutemen, and Rockies wrestlers notched seven pinfalls and a technical fall for the lopsided win.
Kam Markovich, Stephen Abair, Braxton Moore and Nolan Wright earned successive pinfall wins from 132 to 145, and John Stillson claimed his tech fall win 21-6 at 152 pounds.
