INDIANAPOLIS â€” Bremen has hit the big time.
The Lions will have the unique opportunity to play at the home of the Indianapolis Colts this week as they look to move to 2-0 against Tippecanoe Valley at the Horseshoe Hall of Fame Classic Saturday.
Kick-off for the Bremen-Tippy Valley game is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. following the event opener between South Putnam and Tri-West at noon. Danville and Crawfordsville will follow at 5 p.m., and the nightcap between Indianapolis Scecina Memorial and Speedway is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
SOUTH WHITLEY â€” After surrendering a late goal in a draw at Rochester last week, Plymouthâ€™s boys soccer team was determined not to let it happen again at Whitko Tuesday.
The Rockies scored four goals within the first 10 minutes and kept their foots on the gas in a 10-0 blowout of the host Wildcats to earn their first win of the season.
Plymouth earns 1st win
Plymouthâ€™s volleyball team earned its first win of the season, beating host LaVille on the road Tuesday 25-20, 23-25, 25-11, 25-15.
Marissa German pounded out 14 kills, and Amber Redinger put down 12 to go with four blocks and 12 digs.
Haley Harrell handed out 35 assists to her Lady Pilgrims teammates, and Andria Shook finished with 15 digs and a pair of aces.
Kyla Koblentz recorded an impressive 57 digs for the Lady Lancers, who were led by Kelsey Gurtnerâ€™s five kills and two blocks, as well as five assists from Lauren Hostrawser.
