PLYMOUTH â€”Â Plymouth split games for the second straight day in the Patriot Classic Friday, losing the first game to Highland Post 180, 10-0 and getting the victory in the night cap over Crawfordsville Post 72, 7-4.
Plymouth couldnâ€™t get much going in the first game.Â
Highland starter Anthony Gomez allowed only one Diamond Spyder hit, a second inning single by Nick Latham and allowed only four base runners in the 10-run-rule shortened game.

PLYMOUTH â€”Â Plymouth Post 27 opened its second annual Patriot Classic baseball tournament with a split Thursday, battling back to beat South Bend 7-6 before a reversal of fortune in game two, as the Diamond Spyders fell in a 7-5 comeback by Crown Point in the nightcap at Bill Nixon Field.

Things looked grim in the beginning for the Diamond Spyders as Post 50 picked up six runs in the first inning off starting pitcher Sean Liedtky to take the early lead.
