NEWBURGH — The Ancilla College volleyball team has improved its upcoming recruiting class with the addition of Mieka Wagner from Castle High School. The dynamic volleyball player will join the Chargers as a defensive specialist and an outside hitter starting in the 2012-13 season.
“Coach Pickerell and I noticed Mieka within minutes of arriving at the Team Indiana Showcase in early December,” said Ancilla coach Lana Singleton. “This kid is a sparkplug. She jumps well, hustles and has a great, bubbly personality. She will be a great addition to our Lady Charger volleyball program.”
