CULVER — Culver Community’s boys basketball team showed its sharing side Friday.
Displaying unselfishness and patience on the offensive end, the Cavs recorded assists on 22 of their 26 field goals, shot a blistering 63 percent from the field, stepped up to the foul line 37 times, and deposited four players in double figures in an 81-61 victory over LaCrosse at John R. Nelson Gymnasium.
ARGOS — The Argos Dragons beat a tough Winamac team behind a breakout performance from 6’6” junior Ben Carter.
Carter had an all around game with 21 points, nine rebounds and three blocks, all while shooting 7-of-8 from both the field and the line. When the Warriors tried to make a push late, Carter came up big, making a couple of huge rebounds in the last minute of the game while hitting 3 of 4 from the line to help seal the win, 62-54 at home at Phil Weybright Gymnasium Friday.

Triton drops 2nd straight
Clay Yeo and Tanner Shepherd gave Triton a one-two punch, but the Trojans lost their second straight on the road at NorthWood Friday, 66-62.
Clay Yeo scored 31 points, and Tanner Shepherd chipped in 21 for Triton, which slipped to 1-2.
Jonathon Wilinson and Zach Zurcher collected 24 and 18 points, respectively for NorthWood, which saw six players score and opened at 1-0.
