Bremen edges Plymouth for 1st win

BREMEN — The Lady Lions needed a little help, but they got their first win.
Bremen broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the seventh inning as freshman pinch hitter Lexi Pate scored the winning run on a throwing error from third to top visiting Plymouth 2-1 Tuesday.
“That was a fun one,” said Bremen head coach Josh Walter. “We just battled back at the end and made the runs happen when we had to.
