PLYMOUTH â€” Culver Military Academy rallied past Mishawaka Marian for a 55-51 reprisal victory, while South Bend St. Josephâ€™s used suffocating defense to knock out defending champion Plymouth in Class 3A Sectional 19 semifinal action at The Rock Friday.
The Eagles and the Indians will face off in the championship game tonight at 7:30 p.m. EST.

The old adage goes that the best defense is a good offense, but St. Joe showed that sometimes good defense can make for a pretty good offense, too.
TOPEKA â€” Bremen point guard Ben Hueni willed his team to victory with 16 second-half points as the Lions beat Fairfield 50-43, while the Class 2A No. 7 host Warriors outscored LaVille 41-24 in the second half of the other semifinal for a 64-51 at Westview Friday night.

Bremen coach Kyle Hanyzewski had a simple message for his team going into Friday nightâ€™s sectional match-up with Fairfield â€” one win, and the Lions would play for a championship.
Bremen will do just that Saturday night.
BOURBON â€”Â Second-ranked Triton continued its recent dominance of Class A Boys Basketball Sectional 50, although not without a scare.
Meanwhile, a 29-percent mark from the field and 27 points from Westvilleâ€™s Dan Warnke doomed Argos in a 64-40 loss in the second sectional semifinal Friday at The Trojan Trench.
The host Trojans, 46-39 winners over South Central behind five 3-pointers from senior Griffyn Carpenter, seek their fourth consecutive crown tonight in a championship-round clash with Westville at 7 p.m.
