Plymouth tips Tigers 31-29

November 11, 2011

PLYMOUTH — It took Plymouth leading returning scorer Amber Redinger about three quarters to get going.
When she started to find a groove, it helped push the Lady Pilgrims over the top.
Redinger scored six of her 10 points in the fourth quarter, including the game-winning bucket from the low post on an entry pass from Marissa German at the buzzer to clinch Plymouth a 31-29 season-opening win over visiting Peru in a nip-tuck game Thursday at The Rock.

November 11, 2011

WALKERTON — Argos’ girls basketball team needed something, anything, to get on track offensively in the fourth quarter Thursday at John Glenn.
Karlee VanDerWeele delivered.
The Argos junior forward drained a crucial 3-pointer with 5:21 left in the game to accelerate a game-changing 11-0 run as the Dragons withstood a 22-point outburst from Glenn freshman Kyler Columbia, and clawed out a 41-39 come-from-behind season-opening win at The Aerie.
