January 18, 2011

As the 46th annual Boys Bi-County Basketball Tournament gets underway tonight, many area teams are looking for a shot to check off one of the big three on their 2010-11 to-do list.
Over its long history, the eight-team tilt has taken on special importance for its participants and for many, this week has been circled on their calendars since summer, along with conference games and the IHSAA tournament.

Triton Hall of Fame inauguration set for February 18-19

January 18, 2011

BOURBON — The Triton High School Athletic Department has now created the Triton Athletic Hall of Fame.
What began as a vision by Triton Athletic Director Mason McIntyre will come to fruition during the Hall of Fame weekend February 18 and 19.
“Being a Trojan myself, I know and understand the importance of recognizing the many athletes who have paved the way for our department,” McIntyre stated. “It is because of these great coaches, athletes and contributors that the Triton Athletic Department has been so successful over the years. It is time to give credit where credit is due.”
