Triton surges past Bethany Christian

November 30, 2010

GOSHEN — Locked in a 19-all tie at the half, Triton head coach Adam Heckaman decided to take a gamble in the second half.
Switch up to a man-to-man defense to deny easy buckets in the paint and take a chance against Bethany Christian senior small forward Marla ZumFelde.
The gamble worked as sophomore Shana Anderson held ZumFelde to just four of her game-high 14 points after the break, and the Lady Trojans surged past the host Bruins for a 50-39 win at Goshen Monday.
