The Lady Trojans committed 17 second-half fouls to put Plymouth in the double bonus less than 2 minutes into the fourth quarter. Three Triton starters eventually fouled out, and the Pilgrims went on to capitalize at a 12-for-17 free throw rate in the final 6 minutes to rally past Triton for a 52-47 victory at The Trojan Trench Thursday.
NAPPANEE â€” Early in the season and with an inexperienced roster, NorthWood girls basketball coach Steve Neff will take a win any way he can get it.
NorthWood shot just 38 percent from the field and dealt with senior Taylor Olsonâ€™s foul trouble, but overcame both for a 57-49 win over Bremen Thursday night.
â€śWeâ€™re going through some growing pains, and Iâ€™m happy because they kept their heads,â€ť Neff said. â€śAnd (Bremen) has a nice, scrappy team and theyâ€™re going to win some games this year.â€ť
