Carl T. Seversen

PLYMOUTH — Carl T. Seversen, 58, passed away in his residence at 6:19 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013.
Carl was born to Theodore and Margaret (Mulligan) Seversen on Jan. 11, 1955 in Chicago, Ill. He grew up in the area and loved playing baseball and was in the Little League World Series.
After high school, Carl joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant after four years of service. He returned to Plymouth to start a family.

ROCHESTER — Vicki Lee Floor Reeser Bellamy, 58, of Rochester died Sunday, April 28 at Woodlawn Hospital.Â
She is survived by three sisters, Robyn (David) Burkett of Fayetteville, N.C., Yvonne (Pat) Richard of Crest City, Fla., Rosella Green of Rochester; and two brothers, Richard (Debbie) Reeser of Lowell, Mich., David (Alfreda) Reeser, Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, May 3 at the Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester. Visitation is from 1-4 p.m. Condolences may be made at www.goodfamilyfh.com.

PLYMOUTH — Thelma E. Kelly, 89, of Plymouth, passed away, Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 8:50 a.m., at the Catherine Kasper Life Center, in Donaldson.
Thelma was born Jan. 28, 1924, in Russell County, Va., to McKiney and Lucille (Litton) Chaffin. Thelma and Willard “Bill” Kelly were united in marriage Sept. 26, 1947, in Virginia. Bill preceded her in death May 15, 1992, after almost 45 years of marriage.

ARGOS — Alan “Al” Frederick Martin, 60, of Argos, died unexpectedly at 3:50 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center - Plymouth Campus.
Al was born June 13, 1952 to Charles W. and Doris Martin in Plymouth. He graduated from Brandywine High School in Niles, Mich. He received an associate degree in photography from Ivy Tech Community College.

She is survived by her children, Joyce (Tom) Egan, William D. Dini, and Elizabeth (Jim) Aelick; and one grandchild.

ROCHESTER — Larry Joe Metzger, 70, of Rochester, died at 6:55 p.m., Saturday, April 27, at Woodlawn Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; a daughter, Annetta “Annie” (Sam) Tigler of Peru; a son, Mark (Jennifer) Metzger of Rochester; and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Visitation is from 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
Burial will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery

ROCHESTER — Danny Lee McGowen Sr., 67, of Rochester died April 24, 2013 at 1:10 p.m. at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, following a sudden illness.
He is survived by daughters, Tammy Fetters of Plymouth, Wendy (Eric) Jones of Avon, Lisa Kistler of Winamac; Dana (Brian) Orkis of North Judson; sons, Brian McGowen of Argos, Chris (Kassi) McGowen of Knox, Danny (Amber) McGowen Jr. of Winamac; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Sharon (Gary) Ringle of Rochester, Beverly Howton of Wakarusa; and brother, Ronald (Lynn) McGowen of Lancaster, Pa.

PLYMOUTH — Norman Charles Crouch, 75, a Plymouth resident since 1971, coming from Huntington, W.Va., passed away at 7:15 p.m. in St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis, following an illness.
The son of Charles Cooper and Bessie Wilma Bryant Crouch, Norm was born Aug. 12, 1937 in Parkersburg, W.Va. He graduated from Winsor High School in Willow Wood, Ohio in 1955.
On July 30, 1988, Norm and Judy Lynn Parish were married in the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Argos.
Opal Eloise Jones
Feb. 16, 1915 - April 24, 2013
PLYMOUTH — Opal Eloise Jones, 98, formerly of Plymouth, passed away of natural causes at 6:32 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Opal was a resident of the Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Milford for the past two years.
Born Feb. 16, 1915, in Hepton, Kosciusko County, she was the daughter of Edward Clinton and Cora (Miller) Conrad.
She graduated from Nappanee High School with the class of 1933.
In August of 1967, Opal and Orville Jones were married. Orville died in 1973.
