KEWANNA âÂ Helen J. Miller, 94, of Kewanna passed away at 8:10 p.m., Saturday, July 30, 2011 at her residence.
Helen was born Feb. 27, 1917 near Lake Bruce in Pulaski County. Jan. 6, 1936 she married Robert H. Miller and he preceded her in death Aug. 2, 1994.
She was a 1935 Kewanna High School graduate.

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. âÂ Jack Allen Hurley, 65, of Mountain Home, Ark. passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. Jack Allen Hurley was born Sept. 21, 1945 in Gary to Earnest and Isabelle Hurley. He enjoyed fishing and music, especially Willie Nelson.

PLYMOUTH â Former Chicago area resident, Barbara Ann Myszkowski, 71, finished her race into the arms ofÂ Jesus at 4:10 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011 in Millerâs Merry Manor, Plymouth.
Barbara has been in the gentle care of her family and the Millerâs staff since 2009 and more recently the Center for Hospice Care.

PLYMOUTH âÂ Lifetime Plymouth resident James W. Walker, 56, of 711 Magnetic Parkway, passed away unexpectedly at 2:40 a.m. Friday in the emergency room of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth campus. His death has been attributed to heat stroke.
Jim was a caring person who volunteered his time and construction talent helping build Habitat for Humanity houses in Plymouth and surrounding areas. He could often be found serving as a clerk in the Habitat Re-Store in Plymouth.

BREMEN âÂ Helen L. Johnson, 98, formerly of Riley Road, North Liberty and Sherman Street, Bremen, passed away at 6:45 p.m. Friday, July 22, 2011 in the Bremen Health Care Nursing Home, Bremen. She was born Sept. 17, 1912 in Marshall County to the late Wilbur Maxson and Beth âBessieâ (Armentrout) Phillips and lived in this area all of her life. March 19, 1932 in Plymouth, she married Chester Johnson, who preceded her in death Aug. 14, 1974.

KNOX âÂ James Walter Keen, 59, of Knox died Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Starke Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Keen of Knox; son, Steve (Debra) Keen of LaPaz; two grandchildren; brothers, Mark (Pat) Keen of Plymouth, Scott (Melody) Keen of Columbus; and sisters, Elizabeth Sallee of Knox and Jeanne Keen of Knox.
Visitation was Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox.
Funeral service was Monday, July 25 at 11 a.m. at Knox United Methodist Church.
Burial is at Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox.

PLYMOUTH âÂ Albert âAlâ L. Odiorne, 87, of Plymouth died July 19, 2011 at 8:20 a.m. in his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Blanche; sons, Tom (Alom) Odiorne of Atlanta, Steve (Cindy) Odiorne of Plymouth; daughter, Marcia (Tim) Barts of Bremen; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Isabel Kitson and Gertie (Dutch) Schaal.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family.
The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. âÂ Russell (Pete) M. Porcher, 95, of Sevierville, Tenn. passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2011. Mr. Porcher was a sheet metal worker and union member for more than 50 years and his hobbies included fishing and intricate woodworking.Â
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Warner Porcher; parents, Harry and Laura Porcher; grandson, Scott W. Plummer; and brothers, Howard and Clarence Porcher.
He is survived by a daughter, Kay Williams; niece, Eleanor Heckaman; and nephew, Charles Porcher.
