Survivors include: one daughter, Valerie Andrews of Indianapolis; one son, Jamie Hancock of Indianapolis; four grandchildren; one sister, Leann Johnson of Noblesville; two brothers, Ron Hancock of Valparaiso and Jerry Hancock of Hamlet.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Van Gilder Funeral Home where funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Van Gilder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

PLYMOUTH â€” Iris M. Gildner, 80, of Plymouth, for the past 38 years, died of natural causes at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012.
Iris was born in the Twin Lakes area of Marshall County Feb. 16, 1932. She was the daughter of Ralph Adam and Dorothy Belle (Johnson) Shafer.
A 1950 graduate of Argos High School, she was married to Dewey S. Gildner Dec. 25, 1951 in Argos. Dewey died Dec. 28, 1991.
Iris had worked as a retail clerk for J.C. Penney for 11 1/2 years, retiring in 1995.

Survivors include one daughter, Laura Jennings of Koontz Lake; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

CULVER â€”Â William F Mills II, 77, of Culver, passed away Oct. 16, 2012 at his daughterâ€™s home.Â
Longtime Culver educator, Bill Mills served as elementary, junior high principal and superintendent from 1971 to 1995. He loved the school and enjoyed the students, staff, and parents. He loved his job. Bill was always very visible to the community and the people. He had a large family of seven children.

Survivors include: his wife, Mary Louise; three sons, Larry (Jamie) Setnor, Michael (Linda) Setnor and Joe (Pat) Setnor; one daughter, Sandy (Mark) Easterday; one brother, Joe Setnor; one sister, Ann Mikosh; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.Â

PLYMOUTH â€” Patricia Hazel (Brooks) Clark exchanged her earthly home for her heavenly home Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012 at approximately 9:20 a.m. She was 87 richly-lived years old. She was welcomed there by her Savior, as well as her parents, William (Harry) and Adelaide Brooks, her husband, Duewaine Clark and her four sisters, Phyllis Pfahler, Elizabeth Penrose, Bernice Hartung and her twin, Priscilla Strong.

PLYMOUTH â€” W. Michael Smith, 72, a resident of Plymouth, passed away at his residence Monday, Oct. 15, 2012 at 10 a.m. following a lengthy illness.
Mike was born in LaPorte Feb. 22, 1940, the son of Walter M. and Mildred Ruth (Nash) Smith. He attended Urey High School. From there he entered the United States Air Force as a communications specialist.
