STURGIS, Mich. âÂ Dwight C. Hull, 89, of Sturgis, Mich. died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011 at his home.
In 2007, Mr. Hull moved from Elkhart to Sturgis, Mich. and was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in LaGrange. He had worked as an Internal Auditor for The Associates of South Bend in South Bend and had been a school teacher.
Mr. Hull was born July 13, 1922 in Sandusky, Ohio to Harry and Louise (Wachtman) Hull. They preceded him in death.

WALKERTON âÂ Byrdie Frances Searfoss, 87, of 801 Virginia St., Walkerton died at 5:25 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011 after an extended illness.
She is survived by six daughters, Donna Ross of Paducah, Ky., Ann Searfoss, Carla (Jack) Preston and Janet (David) Cooke of Walkerton, Lora (Michael) McMillen and Brenda (Danny) Calhoun of Plymouth; brother, Norman (Mary) Dreibelbis of LaPorte; daughter-in-law, Janice Searfoss of Osceola; and 17 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. âÂ Becky (Leachman) Matosich, 57, of 1054 Sparrow Lane, Tarpon Springs, Fla., formerly of Plymouth and South Bend, passed away at 7:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at Community Hospital in New Port Richie, Fla.Â
Becky was born May 22, 1954, in Plymouth, to Frank and Lucille âLucyâ (Richardson) Leachman. Becky married Michael Matosich Aug. 29, 1986, in Plymouth. Michael and Becky moved to Florida, two years ago, from South Bend.

LEBANON âÂ Charles N. Prince, 81, of Lebanon died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at 11:55 a.m. at Essex Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Lebanon of natural causes.
Charles N. Prince was born in Tuscaloosa, Ala., Feb. 13, 1930. He was the son of the late Orville and Eugenia Prince.
Mr. Prince was married to Eldora Jean (Breeding) Prince in Plymouth, June 21, 1953. Mrs. Prince survives.Â
Rod A. Martindale

CULVER âÂ Rod A. Martindale, 80, passed away Sunday the 23rd of October, 2011 in Culver.
He retired from Indiana Bell with more than 30 years of service. Rod was an avid fisherman, enjoyed remodeling old homes, and always looked forward to buying his next new truck! Oct. 19, 1979 he married Dollie Keller.

PLYMOUTH âÂ Frank Leslie Doll, 86, of Bourbon, died at home at 2:20 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011.
Frank was born in Oak Park, Ill. Aug. 24, 1925. He was the son of Leslie F. and Josephine Newberg Doll. He graduated from Austin High School in 1943 and from Wright Jr. College.
He served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946 as a Tech Sergeant, (T5) with the 1346th Combat Engineers in Europe and Okinawa during WWII.
Nov. 19, 1944, in Chicago, he was married to Mary Ann Grajkowski.Â Mary Ann died Jan. 19, 1986.

PLYMOUTH â William J. âBillâ Collins, 50, a resident of Downtown Garden Court, died at his residence of natural causes at 12:49 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2011.
Surviving along with his mother, Luella M. (Hundt) Collins are his two daughters; Rebecca L. and Angel M. Collins both of Plymouth; brothers, Randy L. Heckaman of Plymouth, Tom C. Collins of Koontz Lake; and sister, Debra A. Geisleman of New Orleans, La.

BOURBON âÂ Frances May Long, 72, of Bourbon, passed away at 5:32 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Jan. 2, 1939, Frances was born to George and Emma (Coonfare) Williams in Starke County. She graduated from Aubbeenaubbee High School, Leiters Ford, in 1957.
Frances married Ernie D. Long Dec. 31, 1974 in Plymouth. He preceded her in death Nov. 28, 1997.

BREMEN âÂ Lester Hochstetler, 79, of Bremen died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011 at the Community Hospital of Bremen.
Survivors include wife, Bert Hochstetler of Bremen; brothers, Dale L. (Dee) Hochstetler of Bremen, Howard (Leona) Hochstetler of Milford and Raymond (Sharon) Hochstetler Jr. of Franklin, N.C.; and sister, Neva J. (Arlen) Slabaugh of Plymouth.

BOURBON â Karen Faith Anthony, 48, of Bourbon died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 at Hospice House of South Bend after an extended illness.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas and their three children: Danielle of Winona Lake, Alisha and Brandon both at home; her mother, Janice Houchin of Martinsville; a sister, Angela (James) Gehbauer of Martinsville; and a brother, Rick (Cathie) Houchin of Franklin.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 at 10 a.m. in The Country Church.
