ARGOS — Jeffery S. Froehling 53, of Argos, died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.
He is survived by his sons, Shawn Froehling of North Ridgeville, Ohio and Christofer Froehling of Valparaiso; a granddaughter; brother, Robert Froehling of Wood River, Ill.; and sisters: Katy Beam of Star City, Ellen Taylor of Hebron, Judy Dinkleman of Phoenix, Ariz., Bobbie Giesler of Phoenix, Ariz., Marie Cannon of Kouts, and Johanna Stayton of Argos.
No services will be observed.

He is survived by daughter Barbara Syler and cousin of Roland Toth.
Burial will take place at a later date in Indiana.

KNOX — Mildred Clemons, 89, of Knox, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010 at Starke Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by a daughter, Lois (Larry) Kinsinger of Hamlet; sons, Lorenzo (Darlene) Watson of Phoenix, Ariz. and Ronald (Pam) Clemons of Lakeville; brothers, Willard (JoAnn) Minix of Granger and Herbert (Deloris) Minix of Rochester; and a half-sister, Donna (Greg) Stiles of Plymouth.
Visitation took place from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27 at Braman & Son Memorial Chapel, Knox.
Robert C. ‘Bob’ Hickman

BREMEN — Robert C. “Bob” Hickman, 72, of Bremen, passed away Dec. 24, 2010 at Community Hospital of Bremen.
He was born Nov. 11, 1939 in Homer, Neb. to Joseph and Gladys (Queen) Hickman. April 6, 1963, he married Susan “Sue” Welch, and she survives.
Robert was a graduate of Central High School in Sioux City, Iowa. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran and he retired from the Engineering Department at Hehr International in Plymouth after 37 years. He enjoyed spending time with his six grandsons.

INDIANAPOLIS — M. Wayne Senter 85, of Speedway, passed away, Dec. 24, 2010, in Indianapolis.
He was retired from DuPont. He was a 1943 graduate of Speedway High School. He was an Army veteran of WWII.
He was a member of Speedway Christian Church, Friends of the Speedway Library and a Scoutmaster of three area troops. He was also a volunteer at Sharing Place West and a Charter Member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

WAKARUSA — Mary Edith Craig, 97, of Wakarusa, formerly of Bremen, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Wakarusa following a lengthy illness.
She is survived by sisters: Esther Craig of South Bend, Alice Newsom of Fort Myers, Fla., Edna Gibboney of Elgin, Ill., and Wilma Rolston of South Bend.
A memorial service will take place at a later date with burial at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Bourbon.

WESTVILLE — Lewis J. Duwelius, 93, of 310 Ash Parkway, Westville, Ind., formerly of Plymouth, passed away at 8:40 a.m., Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at the Hospice House, in South Bend.
Lewis was born May 18, 1917, in Plymouth, to Harry J. and Loretta A. (Richard) Duwelius. Lewis married former Helen L. Zumbaugh Oct. 6, 1951 and enjoyed 31 years of marriage together.

PLYMOUTH — Audrie Mae (Hensley) Wright, 86, Oakhill Avenue, Plymouth, formerly of Argos, died at 6:25 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20, 2010 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Dec. 2, 1924 in Breathitt County, Ky. to Shelton and Zilla (Dyer) Hensley. She had lived in the Argos community since 1950 coming from Breathitt County, Ky.
She married Samuel Wright Oct. 30, 1943 in Breathitt County, Ky. and was a homemaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ, Argos.
