CULVER — Paula Sue Morris, 47, a Marshall County resident all of her life, died unexpectedly from natural causes at 7:08 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011 in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
The daughter of Guy and Jean Masterson Flosenzier, Paula was born Sept. 13, 1963, in Plymouth. A 1982 graduate of Plymouth High School, she had also attended Ancilla College.
Paula married Michael Morris and they were blessed with a son, Richard Morris. Paula and Mike were later divorced. Mike preceded Paula in death Nov. 19, 2005.

PLYMOUTH — Rose F. Copeland, 94, of King Road, Plymouth, passed away at 8:47 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011, at Miller’s Merry Manor, in Plymouth.
Rose was born Sept. 5, 1916, in Holsopple, Penn., to Sebastain and Concetta (Codispodi) Britz. Rose and Frank J. Campiti were united in marriage in 1948. Frank passed away in 1962. In 1965 Rose and Paul Copeland were married. Paul then passed away in 2007. Rose had worked at the Corey Rubber Company, in Marion, Ohio, and then at Marion General Hospital, as a Physical Therapist.

NAPPANEE — Frank B. Method, 85, of Goshen, formerly of Nappanee, died at 11:45 a.m., Jan. 7, 2011 at Greencroft Nursing Center.
He is survived by a son, Richard (Kay) Method of Nappanee; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Eloise (Vern) Meeks of Nappanee; and twin sister, Bertha Parker of Nappanee.
Visitation will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, 950 N. Main St., Nappanee.
Funeral services will take place at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

NORTH LIBERTY — Kenneth A. Loper, 70, died Monday, Jan. 3 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife, Judith L. Loper of North Liberty; two sons, Scott (Karen) Loper of Sierra Vista, Ariz. and Kevin W. Loper of North Liberty; grandchildren; father Kenneth Loper of Michigan; three brothers; two sisters; and two surrogate brothers (in-law).

ELKHART — Dale Dinkledine, 85, of Elkhart, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011 at Hubbard Hill Estates in Elkhart.
He is survived by his son, Tom (Susan) Dinkledine of Russiaville; daughters, Nancy (Doug) Weber of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Jill (Dennis) Hendrix of Elkhart; and seven grandchildren.
Arrangements are pending at the Bethel United Methodist Church, Elkhart.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel United Methodist Church, Elkhart.
Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with local arrangements.

PLYMOUTH — Doris Downey, 87, a former Plymouth resident, died at 8:45 a.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, at Westford House in Westford, Mass.
Doris was born Feb. 22, 1923 in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Roy and Ruby Dann Martin. She graduated from high school in Indianola, Iowa.
March 21, 1942, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Doris became the bride of Doyle Downey. Doyle preceded her in death in 1984.

MENTONE — Doris Eileen Cooper, 80, of Mentone, died at 8:23 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011 at the Bremen Health Care Center of Bremen.
She was born Aug. 23, 1930 in Etna Green, to Glen Snider and Ethel M. Easterday.
She was married Oct. 15, 1950 in Mentone, to David L. Cooper who passed away Jan. 31, 2000.

WESTPORT, Mass. — Doris Downey, 87, of Westport, Mass., formerly of Plymouth, died Dec. 27, 2010 at Westport Nursing Home.
She is survived by daughters, Peggy (James) Metz of Plymouth, and Linda (Dennis) Alitz of Massachusetts.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6 and one hour prior to services Friday at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton.

CULVER — Nancy E. Simpson, 85, of Culver, passed away Jan. 2, 2011 at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.
Nancy was born June 9, 1925 in Goshen, one of five children born to Isaac and Lulu (Sparklin) Mummert. After graduating from Goshen High School, she married James Simpson Aug. 15, 1943 in Goshen. Together they raised three children and a foster son.
Nancy really enjoyed gardening and playing bridge with her friends as well as spending time with her grandchildren.

ARGOS — Elizabeth (Morris) Bailey, 75, of State Road 10, Argos, died Jan. 1, 2011 at 1:01 a.m. at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth. She had been in declining health for several years.
She was born June 30, 1935 in Morgan County, Ky., to Cletus and Alta (Sargent) Morris and lived in the Argos community since 1984.
She married David F. Wallace Sr. they were divorced later. She then married Clifford Bailey in Winchester, Ky. in 1984. They both preceded her in death.
