NAPPANEE â€”Â Robert D. Hamman, 75, of Nappanee, died Friday, July 27, at Elkhart General Hospital Emergency Room from natural causes.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; five children, Timothy S. (Di) Hamman of Eastlake, Ohio; Kelly Sutton of Nappanee; Rodney D. (Sherrill) Hamman of Mentone; Kina (Tom) Hinz of Plymouth; and Kela (Jimmy Faulkner) Hamman-Runnells of Warsaw; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

WAKARUSA â€”Â Lodella M. Leininger, 93, Wakarusa, formerly of Mishawaka, Tyner and Zephyrhills, Fla. where she wintered for the last 30 years, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Millerâ€™s Merry Manor. She was born Oct. 22, 1918 in Mishawaka to Charles and Hannah (Cramer) Powell. She married Adolph P. Leininger May 23, 1941.

NAPPANEE â€”Â Merrill Dale â€śGutchâ€ť Pippen, 84, of Nappanee, died from natural causes at his residence Wednesday, July 25, at 9:45 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Jean; son, Rex Pippen of Middlebury; daughter, Sherry (Dennis) Martin, of Nappanee; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and brother, Bud â€śEldonâ€ť (Kathy) Pippen, of California.

She is survived by her husband, John W. Davisson; sons, Myron Stephen (Bridget) Davisson of Liberty, Dr. Mark (Dr. Becky) Davisson of New Castle, Major Philip (Major Sheila) Davisson of Winnepeck Mantiba, Canada; daughters, Angela Kay (John) Ballinger of Liberty, Rebecca Hillyer of Fountain City; many grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara (Jerry) Holem of Plymouth, and Donna (Gary) Stanford of Hammond.

BREMEN â€”Â Jessie I. Snyder, 99, of Bremen, died Friday, July 20, 2012, at 12:08 p.m., at her home.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Lee of Argos; her two sons, Stephen (Margie) Snyder of South Bend and Stewart (Rosemary) Snyder of Plymouth; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 25, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth.

TERRE HAUTE â€”Â Robert Henry Langdon, 91, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 in Union Hospital. He was born Aug. 22, 1920 in Plymouth to James H. Langdon and Edna Freyman Langdon. Robert was a leading sales representative for DX and DA Lubricant companies from 1948-1983. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Alice Klein Langdon.

PLYMOUTH â€”Â Margaret L. â€śPeggyâ€ť Young, 90, of Plymouth, passed away at 12:38 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2012, at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, in Plymouth.
Margaret was born Nov. 15, 1921, in Michigan Town, to Ray and Flossie (Whiteman) Russell. Margaret became the bride of Gordon Young, in May of 1939. Gordon preceded Margaret in death Aug. 1, 1970. Together they raised their six children. They had lived in the Marshall County Area, since 1951.

Survivors include: her husband, David Anderson of Phoenix; two daughters, Fawn Pingel of Hobart and Tina Phillips of Elkhart; one son, David Anderson Jr. of Phoenix; her mother, Mattie Watson of Mishawaka; one brother, Terry Martin-Back of Gainesville, Fla.; one sister, Lori Hillman of Santa Fe, Texas; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Â
Warren R. Harner
Feb. 8, 1940 â€“ July 15, 2012
PLYMOUTH â€” Warren R. Harner, 72, a lifetime Plymouth resident was called home at 4:05 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2012. His passing, following an illness, occurred at his residence of over 40 years on State Road 17 in Plymouth with his loving family at his side.
Warren was born in Bremen Feb. 8, 1940, the son of Leander â€śLeeâ€ť and Edith E. (Huff) Harner. He was a 1959 graduate of West High School.
