DONALDSON â€” Sister Jude Henken, (Cecilia), 88, died at 3:15 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, in the Catherine Kasper Life Center, Donaldson.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 in the Catherine Kasper Home Chapel, 9601 Union Road, Donaldson. Prayer service will be held at 7 p.m.
Funeral liturgy will be at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, in the chapel.
Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Donaldson.

James V. Miracle

CULVER â€”Â James V. Miracle, 95, of Culver, died Dec. 11, 2012 in Plymouth.
He is survived by his daughter, Laura Oatney of Wilmette, Ill.; sons, Thomas Y. Miracle of Culver and Jay Miracle of Los Angeles, Calif., and two grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Culver Masonic Cemetery. Funeral will follow at 11 a.m. at the Culver Academy Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Culver Educational Foundation in memory of James V. Miracle, 1300 Academy Road #153, Culver, IN 46511.

BREMEN â€”Â Casimir Chrzan, 81, of Bremen, passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 at his home. He was born to Casimir and Clara Chrzan on Dec. 1, 1931 in South Bend. On Feb. 3, 1984 Casimir married JoAnn Shaw; she survives.
Casimir worked for Uniroyal for 37 1/2 years and filling many positions over the years. He enjoyed woodworking, building bird houses, fishing, traveling, and just tinkering in general. Casimir also enjoyed his winters in Florida and loved spending time with his family.

PLYMOUTH â€” Mona R. Bryan, 84, formerly of Argos, passed away in Millerâ€™s Merry Manor, Plymouth, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013.
Born in Dana on July 3, 1928, she was the daughter of Elver Roy and Julia Kay (Hunt) Newlin.
She attended schools in Newport, finishing the 10th grade in the Newport High School in 1944.
Mona was married to Wallace Eugene Bryan.
Devoted to her family and friends, they were the crux of her life. She will be sorely missed by them all.

BOURBON â€” Mrs. Phyllis E. Kuhn, age 84, of Bourbon, passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 in Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home of Plymouth in the care of her family.

PLYMOUTH â€” Janice M. Murfitt, 92, a Plymouth resident since 1941, passed away Wednesday morning at 4 a.m. Jan. 30, 2013 at Millerâ€™s Merry Manor in Plymouth.
Janice was born in Bristol, S.D. on Feb. 14, 1920 to Melvin C. and Alea Madge (Bunn) Wagner. She graduated from Goshen High School. She received a bachelorâ€™s degree in education from Goshen College, and soon after, she received her masterâ€™s in education from Indiana University.
On Feb. 25, 1940, she married Edward L. Murfitt in South Bend. He preceded her in death May 3, 1984.

WARSAW â€”Â H. Albert Earl, 69, of Warsaw died Jan. 29, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. at his residence. He had been in declining health since October 2012.
He was born Jan. 17, 1944 in Cumberland Gap, Tenn. to Jack and Edith R. (Stanifer) Earl. He has lived in Kosciusko County since 1955, coming from Claiborne County, Tenn.
On Nov. 22, 1964 in rural Kosciusko County, he married Jennie Lou Lee. They shared 49 years together.
Norma B. Dillingham

PLYMOUTH â€” Norma B. Dillingham, 92, died at 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, in Majors Hospital, Shelbyville.
Norma was born Feb. 10, 1920, in Plymouth, the sixth child of Lewis (L.C.) and Delia M. Snyder Neidlinger. She grew up on a 20-acre farm on Lake Avenue.
Norma graduated from Plymouthâ€™s Washington High School with the class of 1937, and worked for a year in the Recorderâ€™s office at the Marshall County Courthouse.
Gordon Dean Ecker

PLYMOUTH â€” As with his favorite song â€śIâ€™ll Fly Awayâ€ť, when I die Hallelujah by and by, heading home is our loving husband and father. Gordon Dean Ecker, 82, a lifetime Marshall County resident, died at his home on North Michigan Road, Plymouth, at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013.
Gordon was born in Donaldson on Aug. 2, 1930, the son of Russell and Florabelle Emish Ecker.
Gordon and Esther Marie McIntire were married Dec. 15, 1950. Together, they raised their family of nine children.

La PORTE â€”Â Wallace Henry Hamman, age 96, of La Porte and formerly of Plymouth passed away Tuesday morning, Jan. 29, 2013 at La Porte Hospital. He was born July 16, 1916 the son of the late Edward and Louise (Frank) Hamman in Prescott, Wis. On May 23, 1942 he married Lorraine Margaret Martin, she preceded him in death Nov. 9, 2010.
