She is survived by her son, David (Joanne) Bowers, Nappanee; grandchildren, Robin Bonnell, Tuscon, Ariz., Scott (Sherrie) Bowers, Lebanon, Ohio; four great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Miller, and a brother-in-law, Paul Hochstetler.Â

He is survived by a son,Gary W.Â (Anna Rose) Feece of Washington, and two granddaughters.

KOUTS â€” Brian M. Shutske, 46, of Kouts, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 at home. He was born Aug. 2, 1964 in Valparaiso to Gerald M. and Doris Mary (Siddall) Shutske.
Brian graduated from Kouts High School, attended Purdue University and graduated from the Automotive Mechanic program at Ivy Tech. He owned and operated Shutskeâ€™s Service Station in Kouts for seven years and had worked the last 17 years as a machine operator at Merit Steel.

PLYMOUTH â€” Dalton A. â€śDaltâ€ť Fehrer, 80, passed away in the company of his family at 12:40 p.m. in the Millerâ€™s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, Ind. after a long battle with duodenal cancer.Â Dalt has been a resident of Lawrence Lake, Plymouth for the past 44 years.
Born in Beaver Dam, Wis. May 7, 1930, he was the son of Alfred L. and Lilly M. (Raasch) Fehrer.Â There he received his education and then studied at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Visitation will take place at 4:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 3 at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Catherine Kasper Home, Donaldson.
Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Donaldson.

BEAVER DAM, Ky.Â â€” Jack Grimmett, 84, of Beaver Dam, Ky. died Saturday April 30, 2011 at his home.Â
He was born in Crichton, W.V. Oct. 8, 1926, to the late Everet Guy and Elisabeth Wheeler Grimmett.Â He was a truck driver for Gary Transfer, served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, received a Purple Heart when his ship the USS Bush sank, was a member of the DAV, American Legion Post, and also enjoyed fishing and yard work.

She is survived by a son, Philip (Karilyn) Metcalf of North Webster; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Edythe Gordon of Fort Wayne.
Visitation will take place from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 2 at Owen Family Funeral Home, S.R. 13 and 500 N, North Webster.

SEBRING, Fla. â€” Gerald Darwin Kuhn, 80, went home to be with God Thursday, April 28, 2011. He died at the Highlands Regional Medical Center in Sebring, Fla.
He was born to Elmer and Hester Grosvenor Kuhn April 15, 1931, in Bourbon, Ind. He married Maxine Barker in Gainesville, Fla., Oct. 6, 1962.

She is survived by sons, Ralph (Sue) Marsh of Leesburg, Fla. and George Marsh of Terre Haute; daughters: Marilyn Rzonca of Lake Worth, Fla., Evelyn (Bruce) Nevins of Leesburg, Fla. and Joan (John) McGrath of Knox; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Dumas of Arizona and Loretta Rarick of Warsaw; and one daughter-in-law, Carolyn Sue Marsh of Lake Worth, Fla.
