Donald L. ‘Swovy’ Swoverland
July 14, 1939 — May 10, 2011
WARSAW — Donald L. “Swovy” Swoverland, age 71, of Warsaw, Ind. passed away May 10, 2011 at 5:35 p.m. in Mason Healthcare & Rehabilition, Warsaw.
He was born July 14, 1939 in Argos, Ind. to Lee and Lois (Seitz) Swoverland.
He married Lois (Barnett) Stull Feb. 29, 1972 in Warsaw. He was a 43-year resident of Warsaw.
Donald worked for RR Donnell & Sons as a machine operator for 38 years, retiring in 1999.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #49, Warsaw and a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1957 to 1959.

NAPPANEE — Richard “Dean” Middaugh, 79, of Nappanee, died at 7:21 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2011 at IU Goshen Health. 
He is survived by his wife Shirley; daughters: Kim (Dave) Jensen and Michelle (Jeff) Killian, both of Nappanee and Dawn (Mike) Peterson, Bristol; five grandchildren; and a sister, Margie Galley, South Bend.
Visitation will take place fro 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral  Home, Nappanee.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

BREMEN — Dorothy Ellen Swank, 87, of Bremen, died Sunday, May 8, 2011at the Bremen Health Care Center.  She is survived by her husband, Eldon; son, Mike (Brenda) Swank of Sun City, Fla.; five grandchildren; a brother; and five sisters.
 A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at the Bremen Cemetery Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice.
Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.

PLYMOUTH — Charles “Mikey” High, age 58, of Michigan Road, Plymouth, passed away at 5 p.m., Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Saint Anthony’s Hospital in Michigan City. 
He was born Sept. 7, 1952, in LaPorte, to Charles and Barbara (Calhoun) High. Charles and Carolyn Maxson were married Sept. 5, 1999, in Plymouth.
He worked as a finish carpenter at Majority Builders.and had been a resident of Marshall County since 1970.

PLYMOUTH — Larry Larkin Condon, 71, of Plymouth died May 7, 2011 at his residence of natural causes.
He is survived by three daughters, Carleen Ann Condon of Plymouth, Kelly Lynn Kring of Plymouth, and Kim Sue Rosinski of Grovertown; sister, Marry Summers of Dunlap; brother, Robert Condon of Kentucky; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
There will be no services.

She is survived by her son, David (Joanne) Bowers, Nappanee; grandchildren, Robin Bonnell, Tuscon, Ariz., Scott (Sherrie) Bowers, Lebanon, Ohio; four great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Miller, and a brother-in-law, Paul Hochstetler.

LEITERS FORD — Gerald  “Junior”  Feece, Jr., 82, of Rochester, formerly of Leiters Ford, died at 3:40 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2011, at Life Care Center of Rochester.
He is survived by a son,Gary W. (Anna Rose) Feece of Washington, and two granddaughters.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 5 and one hour prior to services Friday at Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St. Rochester                                       
Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, May 6 at the funeral home.

KOUTS — Brian M. Shutske, 46, of Kouts, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 at home. He was born Aug. 2, 1964 in Valparaiso to Gerald M. and Doris Mary (Siddall) Shutske.
Brian graduated from Kouts High School, attended Purdue University and graduated from the Automotive Mechanic program at Ivy Tech. He owned and operated Shutske’s Service Station in Kouts for seven years and had worked the last 17 years as a machine operator at Merit Steel.

PLYMOUTH — Dalton A. “Dalt” Fehrer, 80, passed away in the company of his family at 12:40 p.m. in the Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa, Ind. after a long battle with duodenal cancer. Dalt has been a resident of Lawrence Lake, Plymouth for the past 44 years.
Born in Beaver Dam, Wis. May 7, 1930, he was the son of Alfred L. and Lilly M. (Raasch) Fehrer. There he received his education and then studied at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
