BREMEN — Charles L. Fritz, 70, of Bremen passed away Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
He was born March 24, 1941 in Wyatt to Chester and Blanche (Feitz) Fritz. He married Jeanie G. Weldy, who preceded him in death in 1991. He then married Barbara Hand; she survives.
Charles attended Community Gospel Church in Bremen and was a farmer and avid outdoorsman. He was Madison Township Horse & Pony Leader for several years, co-owner of Backwoods Preserve & Whitetail Deer business, and worked for the foundry as a young man.

PLYMOUTH — William Tallarita, 81, of Plymouth died May 16, 2011 of natural causes at his residence.
He is survived by: his wife, Sylvia Tallarita of Plymouth; daughter, Elizabeth Tallarita of South Bend; sons, Anthony Tallarita of Bremen, and Nicholas (Lynda Kay) Tallarita of Plymouth; sister, Mary Bartholomew of California; brothers, Lawrence Tallarita of Illinois, and Domenic Tallarita of California; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth.

INDIANAPOLIS — Ethel J. Warren, 87, Indianapolis, passed away at 4:15 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2011, at the Carmel Health and Living Center, Carmel.
She was born Sept. 27, 1923 in South Bend, to the late Jack and Ethel (Howard) Palmer.

CORONA, Calif. — Raymond Lee Cook, 96, formerly of Rochester, died May 9, 2011 in Corona, Calif.
He is survived by a daughter, Dianna Cook of Corona, Calif.; a son, James (Sheila Murphy) Cook of Jefferson City, Mo.; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester.

He is survived by his parents, Norman and Martha (Parker) Bridegroom; sister, Kim Butts of North Liberty; and a brother, David Bridegroom of Knox.
Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. (EST) Monday, May 16 at the M.C. Smith Funeral Home, Knox.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17 at the Memorial Chapel at Culver Academy, Culver.

WALKERTON — James T. Miller, 55, passed away at his 4B Road residence Tuesday evening, May 10, 2011 at 9 p.m.  He remained at home in the care of his family and the Center for Hospice after enduring a several year illness.
Jim was born the son of Ray W. and Esther L. (Stone) Miller March 18, 1956 in Colorado Springs, Colo. He was raised in Plymouth and graduated from PHS in 1975 where he played football and basketball and was known as “Big Jim.â€
