ROCHESTER â Danny Lee McGowen Sr., 67, of Rochester died April 24, 2013 at 1:10 p.m. at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, following a sudden illness.
He is survived by daughters, Tammy Fetters of Plymouth, Wendy (Eric) Jones of Avon, Lisa Kistler of Winamac; Dana (Brian) Orkis of North Judson; sons, Brian McGowen of Argos, Chris (Kassi) McGowen of Knox, Danny (Amber) McGowen Jr. of Winamac; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Sharon (Gary) Ringle of Rochester, Beverly Howton of Wakarusa; and brother, Ronald (Lynn) McGowen of Lancaster, Pa.

PLYMOUTH â Norman Charles Crouch, 75, a Plymouth resident since 1971, coming from Huntington, W.Va., passed away at 7:15 p.m. in St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis, following an illness.
The son of Charles Cooper and Bessie Wilma Bryant Crouch, Norm was born Aug. 12, 1937 in Parkersburg, W.Va. He graduated from Winsor High School in Willow Wood, Ohio in 1955.
On July 30, 1988, Norm and Judy Lynn Parish were married in the Wesleyan Methodist Church, Argos.
Opal Eloise Jones

PLYMOUTH â Opal Eloise Jones, 98, formerly of Plymouth, passed away of natural causes at 6:32 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Opal was a resident of the Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Milford for the past two years.
Born Feb. 16, 1915, in Hepton, Kosciusko County, she was the daughter of Edward Clinton and Cora (Miller) Conrad.
She graduated from Nappanee High School with the class of 1933.
In August of 1967, Opal and Orville Jones were married. Orville died in 1973.

PLYMOUTH â Donna Lynn Hostetler, 58, of Plymouth, died at 7:09 a.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, in Plymouth.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney W. Hostetler; daughter, Rachel (Carl) Hedge of East Lebanon; sons, Ryan G. Clemons of East Lebanon, Terry Hostetler of Plymouth; two sisters, Connie Hinsenkamp of Terre Haute and Marje Livengood of Hamlet; and one grandchild.

ETNA GREEN â James Lester Miner, 87, lifetime resident of Etna Green, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 7:05 a.m. in Kosciusko Community Hospital.
He was born April 29, 1925 to Bram and Ruth Heisler Miner at Etna Green. Jim was the fifth of 10 children. He married Mary Beth Shinn on Sept. 14, 1951, she survives. Jim was a graduate of Etna Green High School class of 1943.

PLYMOUTH â Norma J. Leslie, 78, residing in Plymouth, passed away at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Northside Hospital, St. Petersburg, Fla. Mrs. Leslie was born July 3, 1934 in North Appolo, Pa. to the late Emmett and Gertrude Mae (Hartman) Brubaker. On Sept. 27, 2002 at the Pine Creek Church of the Brethren in North Liberty, Norma married Benjamin A. Leslie who survives.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Ann; his daughter, Susan (Kurt) Meissnest; his mother, Wilodene âWillieâ Eltzeroth all of Kokomo; and his father-in-law, Bob Holloway of Rochester.

BOURBON â Betty Ilene Baney, 85, of Bourbon, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. She had been in failing health.
Betty was born Dec. 14, 1927 at Ft. Wayne to Ward Grim and Ethel Leora Welch Grim.Â
She has been a resident of Bourbon since 1953. She was a graduate of South Side High School of Fort Wayne in 1946. Betty was a homemaker and worked for nine years at Lincoln Life Insurance Company of Fort Wayne.
