SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. — Judith Ann Kolkman passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, Sept. 6, 2014.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Donald J Kolkman; her son, Blane Soper, his wife Annabelle Soper; and Judy’s grandson, Blaney Soper. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Dawn and Dave Wallin and granddaughter Alexandra, Dave Kolkman and grandsons Dawson and Brayden.
Judy was a strong fighter and cancer survivor for 13 years and loved tennis. She will be sadly missed.

NAPPANEE — Robert E. Averill, age 84, of Nappanee, died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014. He was born in Chicago, Ill., and lived his early years in Dundee, Ill. The family moved to Plymouth in 1941.
He enlisted in the Indiana National Guard during the Korean Conflict.
He was married to Martha Dick on July 11, 1958 in Nappanee, where they made their home after their marriage.
Mr. Averill worked for Durkee Food Products until his retirement.

PLYMOUTH — Edna M. Weedling, 99, a former resident of Garden Court East in Plymouth, passed away at 3:10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014 in the Pilgrim Manor Care Center.
Born in Argos on Feb. 23, 1915, she is the daughter of Orval and Nellie (Warren) Fear. She received her education at Argos in a one room schoolhouse.
On Feb. 9, 1931 in Warsaw she became the bride of Wayne L. Weedling. He would precede her in death on Jan. 14, 1993.
Edna was a longtime member of the Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist Church.

PLYMOUTH — Robert E. Harris, 83, of Plymouth, passed away at his home due to natural causes Friday evening, Sept. 12, 2014.
Bob was born in Bippus on Nov. 25, 1930, the son of Harry H. and Juanita (Reece) Harris. The family moved from Allen County near Ft. Wayne to Plymouth in 1937.

BEND, Ore. — Harold “Andy” Leroy Anderson, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014 at 10:41 a.m., at the St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, Ore., from complications following open-heart surgery. The family would like to commend the medical personnel at St. Charles Medical Center for their valiant efforts to save his life.
There will be A Celebration of Life Service on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Bend Church of the Nazarene, 1270 NE 27th St., Bend, OR, 97701, 541-382-5496, with The Reverend Virgil Askren officiating.

PLYMOUTH — Wilma M. Ambler, 91, formerly a resident of Fairfield Boulevard, went home to be with her Lord in her daughter’s home in Plymouth on Wednesday morning at 2:48 a.m. on Sept. 10, 2014.
Born in Plymouth on Aug. 29, 1923, Wilma was the daughter of Ivan and Daisy M. (Stuber) Read. She graduated from Plymouth High School.
On Nov. 21, 1942, Wilma married Leo E. “Rodney” Ambler at Ft. McClellan, Ala.
