PLYMOUTH — Mary L. Roach, 69, of Cook Lake, Plymouth, died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011 in Our Lady of Peace Hospital, Mishawaka.
Surviving family members are her husband, Floyd; sons, Jeffery A. (Sherry) Roach of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Timothy R. (Sharon) Roach of DeMotte; five grandchildren; brothers, Ralph (Dee) Wilson of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Richard (Kay) Wilson and Robert (Nancy) Wilson all of Cassopolis; and a sister, Sue Ann Edwards of Arcola, Ill.

BREMEN — Virginia May Julian, 89, of Bremen died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at her residence.
Survivors include daughters, Kathy Barts of Bremen, Lisa (Paul) Carothers of Bremen, and Cynthia “Cindy” (Michael) Hickey of Bremen; three sons, David (Peggy) Julian of Lafayette, Rick (Pam) Julian of Tennessee, and Mark Julian of Tennessee; 37 grandchildren; and 46 great-grandchildren.
Funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (605 S. Center St., Bremen). Burial will follow at the Bremen Cemetery.

PLYMOUTH — Sergeant Jason Lee Nemeth, 26, died at his residence 10734 Muckshaw Road, Plymouth at 12:42 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011.
Jason was born in South Bend Nov. 29, 1984, the son of Timothy and Diana O’Hara Nemeth.
He graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 2003, and from Ball State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice in 2008.
He joined the Army Sept. 12, 2006, and was still active with the Indiana Army National Guard.
Jason was employed with the Marshall County Sheriff’s office.

PLYMOUTH — Gale L. Murphy, 95, of Plymouth, passed away at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011, in the Catherine Kasper Living Center, Donaldson.
He was born, together with a twin brother, Dale A. Murphy, Oct. 17, 1915, in Marshall County, the son of Homer A. and Grace E. Vinnedge Murphy. He lived in Marshall County most of his life.
Gale graduated from Lakeville High School with the class of 1935. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. As a technical sergeant he was stationed for three years in the South Pacific.

PLYMOUTH — Art Suter, 73, a lifetime resident of Plymouth, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 6:15 a.m. Art died at Miller’s Merry Manor of natural causes, in the loving care of family and friends.
His sons who were with him when he passed said that he had a beautiful smile on his face, a trait that he had all of his life.
Art said, “Everything that was good in my life was due to a friend or from some special woman supporting me. Anybody that gets anywhere, disabled or not, has to have a lot of help.”

WARSAW — Dorothy Marie Bonewitz (Alstedt), 86, of Warsaw, died Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 9 p.m. in Greencroft Health Care Goshen.
She is survived by her children, Roberta K. (Steve) Anderson of Leesburg, Michael R. (Nancy) Bonewitz of Goshen, David P. (Anne) Bonewitz of Warsaw, Debora J. (Jim) Ellis of New Paris and Nancy E. (Ken) Miller of Bourbon; 29 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Laveta (Lyle) Kenney of Alexis, Ill., and Thelma (Don) Krantz of San Diego, Calif.
There will be no visitation.

CULVER — Frank Milton Stubblefield Jr. of Culver passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family Friday, June 24, 2011.
He was an active volunteer in both the Culver community as well as the Culver Military Academy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Frank Milton Stubblefield Sr. and May (Price) Stubblefield, and his wife, Allene “Chris” Stubblefield.

BREMEN — Carl E. “Porky” Bellman, 81, of Bremen, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 20, 1930 in Bremen to Charles and Bernice (Martin) Bellman. June 25, 1955 he married Shirley Walker, who preceded him in death in 1996. He then married Betty Z. Casper July 31, 1999, she survives.

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas — Louise Herber Zetty, 88, died in New Braunfels, Texas, June 24, 2010. Louise was born in Guymon, Okla., July 19, 1921, and she attended the School of Music at Indiana University where she earned both a bachelor and master of music.
