ARGOS — James Edward McCune, 72, of Argos died Aug. 6, 2014 at 5:50 a.m. at his residence. He had been in declining health for several years.
He was born Oct. 15, 1941 in Argos to Merle and Leona (Ringle) McCune. He has lived in the Argos community all of his life.
On Nov. 22, 1962 at Poplar Grove United Methodist Church, Culver, he married MariEdd Allen.
He had worked as a mechanic, but his true passion was farming.

BREMEN — Richard K. Lunn Jr., 63, of Bremen, passed away on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, in the Elkhart Hospice House. Richard was born on April 5, 1951 in Bremen to Richard K. and Lulu L. Volquardson Lunn Sr. He was a graduate of Bremen High School, with the class of 1969. On June 24, 1995, he married Sue Snyder, she preceded him in death on Dec. 15, 1998. Richard and Sue Dalton were united in marriage in June of 2002, she survives him.

BOURBON — Michael L. Miller, 68, Bourbon, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014 at 7:50 p.m. in his home surrounded with family.
Michael was born May 3, 1946 to Junior and Phyllis (Shear) Miller at Warsaw. Mike was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War.
He was a farmer. In his spare time he loved being outside, hunting and fishing. He graduated from Nappanee High School, Nappanee in the class of 1964. He had been a resident of the Bourbon area since 1970 and a short time before at Etna Green.

Dale L. Stephenson, age 72, passed away early in the morning of Aug. 1, 2014, after a brief illness. Dale was born Jan. 22, 1942 in Plymouth to the late Paul O. and Mary R. (nee Carl) Stephenson. He graduated from Argos High School in 1960 and Purdue University in 1964 with a degree in animal science and agronomy.

INDEPENDENCE, Ore. — Sherril S. Ulery, wife of William A. Ulery, born and raised in Culver, died July 23, 2014. Sherril was fighting cancer at the time of her death. She was a wife and mother of seven children. She was also a mother to over 50 foster children, some with severe handicaps, with her husband William of 57 years. They ended up adopting several of these children as their own.

INDIANAPOLIS — Better known as Bobbie to her family and close friends, Barbara Lou Andrews peacefully passed away on July 28, 2014, at the Bethany Village Nursing Home in Indianapolis. She was surrounded by her two children, her oldest granddaughter and her youngest great-granddaughter. She had been a South Bend-area resident for over 60 years before moving in 2008.

Throughout her life, Marge was the heart of her family. Known for her kindness as well as her strength of character, Marge was survived by her brother, James “Pete” Wickey, of Plymouth.
