PLYMOUTH — Janis G. Martin, 70, of Plymouth passed away at 5:35 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2013 at home surrounded by her entire family. She was born Aug. 3, 1942 in Plymouth to the late Kenneth and Phyllis (Wilson) Hygema and remained a lifelong resident. On Feb. 13, 1999 in Lakeville she married Billy Martin who survives.

Mildred I. Bernero
March 24, 1923-April 16, 2013
PLYMOUTH — Mildred I. Bernero, 90, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, April 16, 2013 in the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
Born in Argos on March 24, 1923, Mildred was the daughter of Harman and Margaret (Weidner) Zahm.
She graduated from LaPaz High School with the class of 1941.
On Sept. 2, 1948, in Plymouth, Mildred and Louis J. Bernero were married. Louis preceded her in death in 1999.

CULVER — Cynthia Carter Flum formerly of Culver, passed away April 10, 2013 at her home in Nashville, Tenn. She was born in Culver on June 30, 1952 to Ernest “Bus” and Janice Carter. Cindy attended and graduated from Culver Community Schools and Purdue University.Â
Cindy is survived by her mother; Janice Carter, sons; Mark (Kegan) Flum, Bryan (Krisna) Flum, sister; Pamela Coffel, brothers: Kenneth Carter and Bruce Carter; grandchildren: Avery, Emerson, Abigail, and Rylee Flum. She was preceded in death by her father Ernest Carter.

PLYMOUTH — Lifelong resident Randall Bruce “Randy” Murray, 59, passed away following an illness, at his home in Plymouth at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013.
Born in Plymouth on March 1, 1954, Randy was the son of Robert Lavern and Ruth Lucille (Samuels) Murray.
He graduated from Plymouth High School with the class of 1972 and attended Lincoln Tech that next year.
On Sept. 26, 1992, in Hamlet, Randy and Karma Lynn Bryan were married.

WARSAW — Jason S. Watson, 37, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, at 11:10 p.m. in Leesburg as a result of an auto accident.
He is survived by his wife, Debbi; one son, Brandon Watson of Warsaw; two stepdaughters, Miranda and Mariah Bochnicka, both of North Judson; parents, Calvin (Vanessa) Watson of North Judson and Barbara (Larry) Williams of Culver; grandparent, Dovie Stacy of Culver; three sisters, Robin (Seth) Spradlin of Frankfort, Ky., Amanda Stacy of Plymouth, and Amy Watson of North Judson.

BREMEN — Justin P. Feathers, 29, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family at 5 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013.
Justin Patrick Feathers was born in South Bend on Aug. 18, 1983 to Gregory P. Feathers and Lori M. DeBuano. He graduated from Bremen High School with the class of 2001. Justin attended Wyoming Tech in Laramie, Wyo.
While living in Wyoming, he did auto body work and was a welder by trade.

LOGANSPORT — David Lee Parker, 68, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, surrounded by his family, at 1:55 a.m. in his residence.
Born April 16, 1944 in Lafayette, he was the son of the late George and Katherine Funk Parker. On July 29, 1968 in Lafayette, David married Stella Meria Martin who survives.
David retired in 1985 as a psychiatric aid for the Logansport State Hospital.
