KNOX — Adam Wagers, 82, of Knox died peacefully at home. He was born June 27, 1930 to Taylor (Martha Frylee) Wagers in Jackson, Ky. Adam married Goldie Fugate on July 26, 1952. They were happily married for 61 years, she survives.
Adam worked for Blue Diamond Coal Company in Jackson, Ky. He then moved to Indiana to work for The Nickel Plate Rail Road. Adam eventually owned and operated Wagers Salvage in Argos, which is now operated by his son Russell.

ROCHESTER — Robert Dean “Bob” Morris, age 67, of North Main Street, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at the Woodlawn Hospital.
Bob was born in Plymouth on April 11, 1945 to Charles Chester and Luella Christina Morris.
He worked at Dimmitt’s Auto Salvage, working on cars and finding car parts. In his free time, Bob did electrical and welding work.

ARGOS — Robert “Bob” Leon Stone, 67, formerly of Argos, died Feb. 23, 2013 at 1 a.m. at Life Care Center, Rochester following a lengthy illness.
He was born April 21, 1945 in Stockbridge, Mich. to Prock and Grace (Salyer) Stone. He lived most of his life in the Argos community.
On Nov. 25, 1965 in Bremen, he married the love of his life, Rita Ann Jamison; she preceded Aug. 23, 2005.

ROCHESTER — Nancy L. Heinzmann Van Lue, 66, of Rochester died at 9:59 a.m. Friday Feb. 22, 2013 at her residence.
Survivors include her daughters, Michelle Heinzmann Hunsberger, Argos, Carmen Heinzmann Wilson, Akron, Amy (Todd) Behny, Akron, Rebecca Heinzmann, Rochester, Alyson Heinzmann, Rochester; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Vera Lynne Utter, Rochester; and brother, Michael James (Lois) Lyons, Rochester.

ROCHESTER — Robert M. Townsend, 88, of Rochester, died at 6:05 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at Woodlawn Hospital.
On Jan. 4, 1925, Robert was born, the treasured son of Walter D. and Mary Elizabeth Wheadon Townsend. Growing up as one of seven children he shared his childhood with four sisters and two brothers. Following high school, patriotism beckoned him and he enlisted as a member of the United States Navy, serving our country during World War II in the Pacific Theater.

ARGOS — Dale Vernon Thompson, 92, of Argos died Feb. 21, 2013 at 9:29 a.m. at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw following a sudden illness.
He was born Oct. 25, 1920 near Argos in Green Township to Alva and Hazel (Kindig) Thompson. He lived all of his life in the Argos community.
On June 22, 1947 at the Walnut Church of the Brethren, Argos, he married Lois Pfeiffer; she preceded him Dec. 15, 1993.
He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Local #150.

PLYMOUTH — Danny R. Chupp, 55, of Plymouth, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at Kindred Hospital-Northern Indiana, in Mishawaka.
He is survived by his son, Chris Chupp; his daughter, Shelli M. Chupp; and his lifelong companion, Melody Back, all of Plymouth; and sister, Susie Hunnictt of Minnesota.
The Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 W. Madison St., Plymouth is handling the arrangements. There will be no visitation or services.

BREMEN — Lifetime Marshall County resident, David A. Zumbaugh, 63, of Bremen, passed away at his home Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 19, 2013.
Born David Allen Zumbaugh on March 2, 1949 in Plymouth, he was the son of Marvin Dale and LaEuna C. (Lemert) Zumbaugh. His father would precede him in death Feb. 24, 1997. LaEuna, his mother, resides in Plymouth.
He graduated in 1967 from John Glenn High School. In May of 1968 he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served two years of active duty with a year being stationed in Germany.

TALMA — R. “Doug” Hollan, age 61, of Talma (Rochester), passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at 10:51 p.m. in Woodlawn Hospital of Rochester.
Doug was born the son of Edward Hollan Jr. and Elvira Large Hollan on May 27, 1951 at Dayton, Ohio. He was a resident of Talma since 1978. He was a hard worker working at trailer factories and Tippecanoe Foundry. Other interests include his workmanship with old cars and hot rod building. He was a member of the Rebel Rouser’s Car Club and was a people person who never met a stranger.

BRADENTON, Fla. — Sherry L. Arbuckle, age 51, of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Culver, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013. Sherry was born in Knox on June 4, 1961. She married Jimmie Arbuckle in March 1978. She was an employee at Walker of Culver for several years. Sherry enjoyed helping animals and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Arbuckle, her father Jessie G. Bradley, and brother-in-law John Strykul.
She is survived by her two sons Joseph and Brandon Arbuckle of Bradenton, Fla.
