Charles Thomas Ottow
Dec. 8, 1930 – March 23, 2013
PLYMOUTH — Charles T. Ottow, 82, a Marshall County resident all his life, passed away at 7:24 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Hospice House of South Bend.
Charles was born in Knox on Dec. 8, 1930 to Max Albert Carl and Anna Maude (Hapner) Ottow. He attended Ober Elementary School until the eighth grade.
On June 9, 1951, Charles married Velma Rose Samuels in Donaldson.
Charles was enlisted into the U.S. Army on Oct. 6, 1953 and served during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged Oct. 3, 1955.

LAPEER, Mich. — Athalinda “Lynne†May Fitzpatrick, 105, of Lapeer, Mich. formerly of Plymouth, died Thursday, March 21, 2013. Lynne was born July 20, 1907 in Meldrum Bay, Manitoulin Island in Georgian Bay of Ontario, Canada to parents Watson H. and Mary M. (Irwin) Fitzpatrick.Â

MISHAWAKA — Helen Marie Meister, forever “39†passed away Thursday, March 21 after a brief illness. Helen was the 10th child born to Merritt Eli and Ella Minnie (Hammel) Bowles in Plymouth.
On May 27, 1944 she married Benjamin Floyd Meister in Mishawaka. They resided in Mishawaka and Osceola. He preceded her in death March 17, 1989.

PLYMOUTH — Jose Luciano Carrillo- Peña, 43, Plymouth, died Monday, March 18, 2013 at his residence. Â
Survivors include his parents, Isabel Carrillo-Argueta and Petra Peña-Tepayotl; one son, Alex Michael Carrillo of Quincy, Ill.; one daughter, Tabitha Marie Hylton of Plymouth; one brother, Clemente Carrillo- Peña, Logansport; three sisters, Flora, Isabel and Celestina Carrillo- Peña, all of Mexico; and one grandchild.Â

ARGOS — David L. Duff, 75, of Argos died March 18, 2013 at 8:43 a.m. at his daughter’s residence in Rochester following a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept. 20, 1937 in Argos to Earl and Bernice (Finney) Duff. He lived all of his life in the Argos community.
On June 29, 1957 in Argos, he married Juanita (Stevens) Duff; together they have shared the last 55 years.

ARGOS — Mary Ellen Trump, 91, of Argos died March 15, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, following a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 2, 1922 in Walnut to Lawrence and Mary (Biddinger) Bodey. She lived her whole life in the Argos community.
On Dec. 13, 1941 she married Allen O. Trump, sharing the last 71 years together.
She was a seamstress at Hart, Schaffner, & Marx in Rochester for 8 1/2 years and then worked in Meat Processing at Price Abattoir.

WARSAW — Allen R. Rush, 48, a resident of Warsaw Meadows Care Center formerly of Tippecanoe passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at 8:10 a.m.
Allen was born the son of Larry Rush and Rebecca Futch Rush on March 21, 1964 at South Bend. He was a lifelong resident of the Tippecanoe area and was employed at A M General until his illness. He also attended the Bourbon First United Methodist Church when he was able. He enjoyed all kinds of aircraft, naval memorabilia and celebrating the Fourth of July.

BOURBON — Kay E. Fisher, 69, of Bourbon, formerly of Nappanee, died at 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at her daughter’s residence.
Surviving are daughters, Michelle “Shelley†(Kevin) VanderMolen, Melbourne, Fla., Dawn (Steve) Baxter, Bourbon; a son, Edward (Beatrice) Fisher, Elkhart; stepdaughters, Rose (Don) Butler, Lisa Wessler, both of Goshen; stepsons, Jerry (Shari) Fisher, Elkhart, Scott Fisher, South Bend; several grandchildren; and a brother Ray Stutzman, Mentone.
