Norris Krathwohl

PLYMOUTH — Norris Allen Krathwohl, 78, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully, at Saint Joseph Hospital, in Mishawaka, on Friday, June 14, 2013.
Norris was born to Homer and Pearl (Abbiehl) Krathwohl in Lakeville, on March 6, 1935. Their family moved to Bremen, where they lived for many years. Norris took Lois Hartung, to be his bride, Jan. 9, 1954. They were married in the Plymouth Church of the Brethren and had 59 years together, as husband and wife.
Josephine P. Bowman

PLYMOUTH — Josephine P. “Jo†Bowman, 83, passed away at 4:40 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
Josephine was born to Joseph and Barbara A. (Wolkhatski) Piotrowicz on July 26, 1929 at Fish Lake.
Jo and Delbert “Charlie†Bowman were married Dec. 2, 1950. They lived all their married life in LaPaz. He preceded her in death Oct. 17, 1999.
Jo worked at various jobs for about 30 years, including Allis Chalmers and TV Time Popcorn in Bremen. She retired in 1991.
Maudie Hensley
June 11, 1916 - June 15, 2013
ARGOS — Maudie Hensley, 97, of Argos died June 15, 2013 at 9:56 a.m. at her residence. She had been in declining health for several months.
She was born June 11, 1916 in Seitz, Ky. to Brice Patrick and Dora (Craft) Patrick. She had lived in Argos since 1963, coming from Jackson, Ky.
On Dec. 25, 1933 in Kentucky she married Willard Hensley; he preceded her Feb. 18, 1985.
She was a housewife/homemaker, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Argos.
Joseph Allen Leland

BATTLE CREEK — Joseph Allen Leland, age 49, of Battle Creek, Mich. died Monday, June 10, 2013, at Bronson Battle Creek. Joseph was born March 23, 1964, in Inwood, the son of Donald and Mary Ellen (Hall) Leland. He had been an area resident for 14 years and was currently employed at Hi-Lex where he has been for 13 years. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, fishing and working outside.

William Frederick Hundt

BREMEN — William Frederick (“Billâ€) Hundt, 69, of Bremen, went home to be with The Lord Thursday, June 13, 2013. While descending from a tree after a day of hunting, a branch broke causing him to fall and incur spinal injuries which rendered him a quadriplegic. He fought the good fight through many complications, and by God’s grace he now has peace.

PIERCETON — JC Napier, 83 of Pierceton, passed away at 8:15 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 2013 in his residence.
On Dec. 5, 1929, he was born in Keokee, Va. to Milton and Beatrice (Stewert) Napier. He married Kaylene (England) Johnson on May 29, 1977 in North Judson, who survives.
JC was born and raised in Keokee, Va. and then moved to Culver in his late teens. He worked in carpentry and was a specialist at Culver Military Academy where he retired from and later he also retired from Da-Lite Screen Company, Warsaw.
Charles ‘Chuck’ L. Denslow

SOUTH BEND — Charles Louis Denslow, 87, of South Bend passed away June 13, 2013 at 11:05 a.m. at Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart. His wife was at his side as he listened to his “Big Band†music.
Chuck was born in South Bend, May 31, 1926 and lived in South Bend most of his life. His parents, Howard and Marie (Bailey) Denslow, two sisters, Dorothy (Paul) Moss and Delores (Bob) Bowers, and one brother, Jack (Agnes) Petersen, his first wife Janice (mother of Judy and Cindy) all preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 12 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 in the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Visitation is from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in the Walkerton Cemetery.

WEATHERFORD, Texas — Mary K. Carpenter Mosher died peacefully in her sleep on June 1, 2013, in Weatherford, Texas. She was born in Plymouth, on Sept. 18, 1921, and was also a former resident of Rochester. She graduated from Plymouth High School and attended St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame.
