BOURBON â€”Â Kay E. Fisher, 69, of Bourbon, formerly of Nappanee, died at 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at her daughterâ€™s residence.
Surviving are daughters, Michelle â€śShelleyâ€ť (Kevin) VanderMolen, Melbourne, Fla., Dawn (Steve) Baxter, Bourbon; a son, Edward (Beatrice) Fisher, Elkhart; stepdaughters, Rose (Don) Butler, Lisa Wessler, both of Goshen; stepsons, Jerry (Shari) Fisher, Elkhart, Scott Fisher, South Bend; several grandchildren; and a brother Ray Stutzman, Mentone.

NAPPANEE â€”Â Joseph Detweiler, 79, of Nappanee, formerly of Bremen, died at Community Hospital of Bremen on Friday, March 15, 2013.
Survivors include, one daughter, Robin (Scott) Hellman of Bremen; three sons, Joseph W. (Andria) Detweiler of Bremen, Jamie (Teri) Detweiler of Bremen, Paul A. Detweiler of Bremen, 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Amanda Detweiler of Wakarusa, Barb (Wayne) Harter of Wakarusa; and a brother Eli, (Sue) Detweiler of Wakarusa.
John M. Orr

PLYMOUTH â€” John M. Orr, age 84, passed away at 1:10 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013 at Pilgrim Manor, Plymouth.
John was born in Plymouth on May 4, 1928 to Vernon Orr and Margaret Gantz Yazel. He graduated from Argos High School in 1947.
John was enlisted in the U.S. Army from 1950-52 and served during the Korean War. After returning to the states, he worked for AM General until retiring in 1990. During his 25 years of work, he worked on the assembly line, as a forklift operator, as maintenance in the saw room and in the warehouse.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Kristen (Chris) Brody and Kristian (Cristy) Holtzclaw; five grandchildren; mother, Betty Ellett; sister, Pamela (Robert) Lyon; and brother, Jeffrey (Tina) Holtzclaw.

RIVERDALE, Ill. â€”Â William Kranenburg, age 95, of Riverdale, Ill., formerly of Koontz Lake, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013.
He leaves behind his wife of 29 years, Dorothy; his four children, Bill (Marie) Kranenburg of Grovertown, Elsa (Jack) Finwall of Schererville, Carol (Stan) Beem of Clermont, Fla., and Pat (Linda) Kranenburg of Grovertown; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his wife Helen (1983), also his brothers Dan, John, Tuenie, and his sister Min Aardema.

PLYMOUTH â€” Mary Ruth Girten, 94, died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013.
A longtime Plymouth resident, she was born New Yearâ€™s Eve, Dec. 31, 1918, in Plymouth, the daughter of Walter J. Nelson and Stella May Fletcher.
She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1936. She worked at the telephone company in Plymouth. For 31 years, she worked in the cafeteria of the Plymouth Community School System, retiring in 1995.

BREMEN â€” Charlotte Edel, 88, formerly of Bremen, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was born Nov. 18, 1924 to John and Inez (Frenger) Edel in Bremen.
Charlotte was born into a very large and loving family. She graduated from Bremen High School with the class of 1942. She was a lifelong member of the Bremen VFW Ladiesâ€™ Auxiliary and an avid bowler in the womenâ€™s traveling bowling league. Charlotte was loved by numerous nieces and nephews, and will be greatly missed.
