CENTRALIA, Ill. â€” James Michael Justice, 37, of Centralia, Ill. passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2013.
He was born March 22, 1975 in Decatur, son of Doy Michael Justice and Ginger (Moore) Atchison.
James is survived by his parents; a daughter, Kaitlyn Justice of Nashville; a sister, Lora Justice and husband Thom Ancell of Nevada, Iowa; stepmother, Deanne Justice of Plymouth; several uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, an uncle, Ed Moore and a stepfather, Orville Atchison, Jr.

He was born Nov. 5, 1952 in Warsaw to John W. and Pattie (Lynch) Longenecker.

PLYMOUTH â€” Nelta Irene Dipert, 92, a Plymouth resident for the past 63 years, passed away at 8:45 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, in the Elkhart Hospice House, Elkhart.
Born in Valentine on Feb. 13, 1921, she was the daughter of Charles Lloyd and Lula Elizabeth (Baugher) Thornburg.
She attended Grovertown School. She was married to Chester Wayne Dipert on Jan. 1, 1939 in Walkerton; he would precede her in death Dec. 30, 1987.

PLYMOUTH â€” Dwight Shannon Nolen passed away Feb. 12, 2013, in St. Augustine, Fla. He was born July 20, 1917, in South Bend, to the late Shannon and Ermyle Belle (Jackson) Nolen and was a lifelong resident of this area
On Oct. 11, 1941, he married his sweetheart, Donna Belle Plummer and they shared 71 years of wedded bliss. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Eleanor Belle (Forest) Walters, two brothers Forrest Ray (Maxine) Nolen and Kenneth Devon Nolen (Fanny) and a grandson, Michael S. Nolen Jr.Â

ROCHESTER â€” Paula R. Masterson, 39, Rochester, died at 1:25 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Survivors include her biological parents; mother, Leona Williams, Azle, Texas, siblings, P.J. Masterson, Plymouth, Stacy Lynn McAnally, Culver, Roger Eugene Williams, Mineral Wells, Texas, Kerry Pantle, Rochester, Bonnie Swartzell, Monterey, Patti Louk, Knox, Billy Stigall, Piketon, Ohio, and Dee Stigall, Piketon, Ohio.

NAPPANEE â€”Â Craig A. Johnston, 57, of Nappanee, died unexpectedly of natural causes, Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 in Plymouth.
Surviving are two sons, Cody and Connor Johnston, both of Nappanee; and a brother, Terry (JoAnn) Johnston, Chicago, Ill.
Private services are being planned with burial to follow at Stony Point Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Nappanee Public Library.
Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee.

PLYMOUTH â€” Mardelle J. Kaufman VanVactor, 93, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, in Millerâ€™s Merry Manor, Syracuse.
Born in Marshall County on Aug. 14, 1919, Mardelle was the daughter of Harley and Pearl (Gottchalk) Sarber.
She lived in LaPaz from her birth until 1968 when she moved to Plymouth.
A graduate of LaPaz High School with the class of 1937, she also graduated from the South Bend Business College.

PLYMOUTH â€” Grace Madeline Woodfill, lived most of her 100 years in Marshall County. She died Feb. 11, 2013 at the Catherine Kasper Life Center, Donaldson, having been a resident there for the past six years.
Grace was born in Michigan City, on May 23, 1912, the daughter of Louie and Mary (Barfknecht) Peters. She grew up with three siblings: Viola Peters Price, Elmer Peters and Wilmer Peters.

PLYMOUTH â€” Alice C. Pearson, age 89, of River Park, passed away at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 in her residence.
Alice was born to Michael Joseph and Mary Ellen (Herrick) Bauman on June 23, 1923 in Mishawaka. With her family coming from St. Joseph County, she had been a Marshall County resident since 1931. She attended Hibbard and Culver schools and graduated from Plymouth Lincoln High School in 1941. Alice married her first husband, Gail E. Smith, on March 28, 1942, who is now deceased.

PLYMOUTH â€” Gladys M. (Mrs. Herschell J.) Umbaugh, 94, of Plymouth, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Monday in the Millerâ€™s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
She was born in Missauki County, Mich. on Feb. 2, 1919 to Julia D. (Firestone) and Horace E. Bailey. She was a resident of the Argos and Plymouth area most of her life and graduated from Argos High School with the Class of 1937.
