BREMEN â Lifetime Marshall County resident, David A. Zumbaugh, 63, of Bremen, passed away at his home Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 19, 2013.
Born David Allen Zumbaugh on March 2, 1949 in Plymouth, he was the son of Marvin Dale and LaEuna C. (Lemert) Zumbaugh. His father would precede him in death Feb. 24, 1997. LaEuna, his mother, resides in Plymouth.
He graduated in 1967 from John Glenn High School. In May of 1968 he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served two years of active duty with a year being stationed in Germany.

TALMA â R. âDougâ Hollan, age 61, of Talma (Rochester), passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013 at 10:51 p.m. in Woodlawn Hospital of Rochester.
Doug was born the son of Edward Hollan Jr. and Elvira Large Hollan on May 27, 1951 at Dayton, Ohio. He was a resident of Talma since 1978. He was a hard worker working at trailer factories and Tippecanoe Foundry. Other interests include his workmanship with old cars and hot rod building. He was a member of the Rebel Rouserâs Car Club and was a people person who never met a stranger.

BRADENTON, Fla. â Sherry L. Arbuckle, age 51, of Bradenton, Fla., formerly of Culver, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013. Sherry was born in Knox on June 4, 1961. She married Jimmie Arbuckle in March 1978. She was an employee at Walker of Culver for several years. Sherry enjoyed helping animals and gardening.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Arbuckle, her father Jessie G. Bradley, and brother-in-law John Strykul.
She is survived by her two sons Joseph and Brandon Arbuckle of Bradenton, Fla.

HAMLET â Kenneth A. Ross, 49, died Feb. 20, 2013 in IU Health LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy; three daughters, Cassie (David) Faverty and Shannon (Jiles Scott) Ross, all of Hamlet and Ashley (Travis) Keen of Knox; four grandchildren; his father, Kenneth (Doris) Ross of Hamlet; four sisters, Kathy Loftus of Hamlet, Tina Napierkowski of Plymouth, Kim Ross of Knox and Eva Ross of Knox; one stepbrother, Douglas Dickson of Knox and one stepsister, Jodi Dickson of Knox.

PLYMOUTH â Stephan H. Gonce Jr., 45, a lifetime Plymouth resident, died at 3:05 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, following an extended illness.
The son of Stephen H. Sr. and DiAnne King Gonce, Steve was born Feb. 3, 1968 in Plymouth. He was a 1986 graduate of Plymouth High School.
On July 16, 1994, Steve married his wife, Melinda, in their back yard.
Steve had been employed at Flexible Technologies for 17 years, until his illness.

BREMEN â David A. Zumbaugh, 63, a lifetime Marshall County resident, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013.
Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 22 from 4 - 7 p.m. in the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, 1100 N. Michigan St., Plymouth. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 in the Teegarden First Brethren Church, 16518 1st Road where calling will resume after 9 a.m. until time of services.
Burial will be in the Morris Cemetery west of LaPaz.
Preferred are memorial contributions to the church.

BREMEN â Nina M. Trump, 86, of Bremen, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at 12:05 a.m., at her home, with her loving family by her side.
Nina was born Feb. 14, 1927, in Plymouth, to Russell and Ethel (Gray) Shafer. Nina married Roy D. Trump on March 10, 1946, in Plymouth. Roy passed away Dec. 30, 2009. Nina was a homemaker, a loving wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of the Shiloh Wesleyan Church, where she had been an active member, since she and Roy were married.

PLYMOUTH â Mary C. Bottorff, 87, of Plymouth, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at 1:55 a.m., at the Catherine Kasper Life Care Center, in Donaldson.
Mary was born May 21, 1925, in South Bend, to Walter and Ethel (Personette) Hughes. Mary and Donald R. Bottorff were married June 14, 1944. Donald passed away Sept. 22, 2008. Mary worked for the Plymouth Community School Corporation, in the kitchens, of West High School and Plymouth High School.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; a son, Roger (Jennifer) Johnson of Rochester; three daughters, Robin Boyd of Rochester, Terri (Bill) Brooks of Wolcott, Debbie (Mike) Carman; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jim (Winette) Johnson.
