NAPPANEE â Paul E. Keys, 69, of Nappanee, died Thursday morning at 12:45 a.m. at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.
Surviving are daughters, Paula Nolan, Janei Pickens, Antoinette Keys, all of Nappanee, and Ronda (Eddie) Carter of Plymouth; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four sisters.
Visitation will be Sunday, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee. The funeral service will be Monday, at 1:30 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at South Union Cemetery with Military Graveside services.

WALKERTON â Ronald August Savoie, 79, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012 in South Bend at the home of his son and daughter-in law.
He is survived by his wife, Dixie; two sons, Roger Savoie of South Bend and Randy Savoie of Grovertown; two sisters, Sister Luciene Savoie and Sister Mary Savoie, both of Concordia, Kan.; two brothers, Cloment Savoie of Rudyard, Mich. and Peter Savoie of North Dakota; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

PLYMOUTH â H. Fern Sanborn, 92, of Plymouth, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth. She was born July 6, 1920 in Marshall County. April 22, 1939 she married Clyde Sanborn.
Fern is survived by her husband of 73 years, Clyde Sanborn; three daughters, Sandra Manooses of Bloomfield, Wanda (Dave) Lattimer of Argos, and Jo Lovette of White Pigeon, Mich.; and five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

CULVER â Julia R. McCarty, 65, of Culver died Aug. 21, 2012 at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.
She is survived by her husband, Bill McCarty Sr.; son, Billie McCarty Jr. of Culver; sister, Mary Jean Sherrill of Warsaw; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 24, 2012 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Odom Funeral Home, Culver.
Service will be Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Culver Masonic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donorâs choice.

PLYMOUTH â Marilyn Sue Baldridge Stewart, 80, a resident of Nutmeg Trail, Plymouth, passed away Tuesday Aug. 21, 2012 at 10:32 a.m. in Millerâs Merry Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth.
She was born in Bloomington Jan. 3, 1932, the daughter of Otho D. and Anna A. (Foster) Baldridge.
Marilyn graduated from University High School May 26, 1950, she then attended Indiana University, where she was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.

Shari Lynn Koehne Kirkland was born Sept. 6, 1963 in Hammond, the precious daughter of Robert and Marion Lotz Koehne. Growing up she shared her childhood with three wonderful sisters. Shari was a graduate of North Newton High School of Morocco.

ARGOS â Evelyn P. Wilcox Riley, a lifetime area resident, died four days before her 76th birthday, at 1 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, at her home in Argos.
Born in Tyner, Aug. 23, 1936, Evelyn was the daughter of John H. and Mary E. Cudney Hill.
She attended Plymouth schools until the ninth grade and later earned her GED.
Evelyn was first married to Charles Hites in 1954. Charles died in 1960, leaving his wife, Evelyn and three little girls. In 1965, Evelyn was married to Ralph Wilcox in Charksville, Tenn. Ralph died in 1998.
