NAPPANEE — Chester F Mast, 81, of Nappanee, died Tuesday, July 3, at 12:05 a.m. at his residence from a long illness.
He is survived by a daughter, Patty Britt of Nappanee; son, Chester Allen (Ginger) Mast of Bremen; six grandchildren; brothers, Elmer Mast of Mishawaka, Ervin (Lois) Mast of Berne, and sisters, Laura Lawson of Niles, Mich., and Verna Newton of Elkhart.
Visitation is Friday, July 6, at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home in Nappanee from 5 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the 2 p.m. service Saturday, also at the funeral home.

BREMEN — Charlene K. Hampe, 83, of Bremen, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center of Mishawaka. She was born in Chicago, Ill. to Frederick and Mary (Saar) Kestner Jan. 17, 1929. She married George A. Hampe Feb. 25, 1950.
Charlene enjoyed taking care of her family as a homemaker. She loved to see her three great-granddaughters, Taylor, Ella and Georgia, as often as possible. They were her pride and joy. She was also a member of the First United Church of Christ.
