PLYMOUTH â€“ Hunter James Brandt, 16, of Plymouth died at 8:54 p.m., Thursday, June 28, 2012.
He is survived by his parents, James â€śIanâ€ť and Terri (Zieman) Brandt of Plymouth; twin sister, Emmelyn C. Brandt; a brother, Cameron M. Marlow; and a sister, Caley E. Marlow.
A community celebration of life service in union with the Cody Poczik family will be held Monday, July 2 at 7 p.m. in the Plymouth Wesleyan Church, 11203 S. Michigan St. Plymouth. There will be no visitation.

ARGOS â€” Kathryn Willadean (Mrs. Herbert) Blocker, 88, a lifetime Marshall County resident of Argos, passed away Tuesday evening, June 26, 2012 at 9:42 p.m. in the Memorial Hospital of South Bend unexpectedly following a brief illness.
Since 1951, Kathryn had lived on the same family homestead where she was born to Raymond Ellsworth and Mildred Emaline (Dinsmore Price) Overmyer April 2, 1924.

LaPAZ â€”Â Velma Bernice Mangus, 93, passed away at 5:27 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Bremen Hospital, Bremen. Velma was born Dec. 14, 1918 in Teegarden to the late Nelson and Gertrude (Harley) Baughman.
She has been a lifelong area resident having lived on the farm on Tyler Road for more than 60 years. May 10, 1941 in North Liberty, she married Quinten Mangus who preceded her in death Sept. 5, 2000.

Elsie Kathleen Kirby was born Dec. 4, 1922 in the family home at Pacolet Mills, S.C. in Spartanburg County. Kathleen was the first child of MayBelle Seay Kirby and Archie Kirby. She attended South Carolina Local Schools and graduated from Fair Forest High School in the class of 1939.

BREMEN â€”Â Suzanne Marie Schrader, 50, of Bremen died Sunday, June 24, 2012 at home. She was born June 16, 1962 in Bremen to John M. and Marsha L. (Balmer) Schrader. Suzanne graduated with the class of 1980 from Bremen High School.
Suzanneâ€™s family remembers her as their loving and fun Aunt Susie that was always there for them and now, will always be missed. Her family was her world; she loved her nieces and nephew very much. Suzanne also enjoyed music, animals, bowling, and shopping.

KOONTZÂ LAKE â€”Â Doris I. Sliter, 77, a lifetime area resident, passed away at 6:04 a.m. Sunday, June 24, 2012, at Millerâ€™s Merry Manor, Plymouth.
The daughter of Glen Edward and Dora Blanche Carlson Farver, Doris was born July 5, 1934 in LaPaz. She attended LaPaz Schools.
Doris had been a machine operator at Bendix in South Bend for 20 years, leaving in 1971 with a disability.
An avid reader, Doris also enjoyed crocheting, cooking and baking and especially spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Pietrzak and son, Brent Pietrzak, both of South Bend; sister, Amy Reese of Tucson, Ariz.; brothers, Steve (Judy) Reese of Cache, Okla. and Brian (Tina) Reese of Bristol, Tenn. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at New Creations Fellowship, Granger. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
